Pickwick was a family-owned and run establishment (primarily by the matriarch Elsie Miller) which my family frequented for 30+ years, and I went there until I was about 20 every year. It had a real "home" feel, where everyone who came knew everyone else. The property was beautiful, right in the heart of the Catskills, with a creek running right... More

CLOSED - THIS ESTABLISHMENT IS NO LONGER IN EXISTANCE..THEY HAD A GREAT 90+ YEAR RUN... Many thanks to the Miller family who ran such a fabulous place.The bon fires, playing shuffle board, hiking, rock hoping in the streams, fishing in the pond, swimming in the pool or the stream's waterfall, ringing the bell for meals as kids... it was charming... More
