As a former customer sevice mamager, I recognize outstanding customer service when I see it--and the Roslyn Claremont really delivers! Special thanks to Avanie, head of Housekeeping, and her excellent staff and to Arlene in Accounting. Both showed outstanding initiative in locating and returning some clothing which I left behind in a drawer. All of the staff went out of their... More

I stayed here for a wedding-the room was okay- the bathroom was okay- the fixtures were a bit dated and the towel rack was falling apart. The staff appeared somewhat indifferent but were not rude. The breakfast was lack luster- probably wouldn't stay here again. The rooms were paper thin, could here people talking and laughing in the room next... More

Stayed for 3 nights for a business conference. The hotel is located off the beaten path, and easy to access via taxi or limo from either JFK or Laguardia. It is an older property that has worked to maintain a stately and classic environment. The front desk was always accomodating and helped with any questions we had. We were surprised... More

Our stay occurred at the beginning of August. We live locally, and stayed overnight for 1 night at the Roslyn Claremont during the course of work being done at our house. I found a real bargain-basement "last minute" price on one of the websites specializing in hotels while making reservations. Given this, and given previous reviews, we didn't expect very... More

I engaged the Roslyn Claremont Hotel this past year to reserve a block of rooms for my wedding guests who were traveling from out of town. Hotel management was immediately receptive to my inquiry, giving a tour of the hotel and an overview of the room block details even though I didn't have an appointment. Throughout the months that I... More

We got married in July and used the Roslyn-Claremont as our hotel for the weekend. I stayed there the night before our wedding and got ready there during the day. Everything went smoothly. The staff at the front desk was so helpful and told me that their job was to make my day stress-free, and they did. Katie was wonderful... More

My son recently got married at a nearby site and we used the Roslyn Claremont for both local and out-of-town guests. Max Tosson, the catering manager, was wonderful to work with. We had the after-party and breakfast at the hotel. As soon as our guests arrived at the after-party, everything was ready and waiting. Max had great suggestions as far... More

I recently moved to NY from Ohio and decided to plan a wedding away from home in NY. Since this was a destination wedding, the hotel we chose was very important for us, as every guest would need a place to stay. Katie at the Roslyn Claremont has been MORE than accommodating and helpful during the booking process. Any question... More

This hotel has affairs every weekend night and the noise travels up all 3 floors. My cousin on the second floor and I on the third kept getting woken up by outbursts reverberating throughout the building. I never got more than 1 1/2 hours sleep at any time and spent most of the night staring at the ceiling. I didn't... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Although I did see that you gave us high marks on everything, but sleep quality, I am sorry we fell short of your expectations. We are a very busy hotel, and on the weekends we do have weddings and other social groups that stay with us. Normally we do not... More
