Last year in July, I stayed at the hotel twice. The first time, I got a much better rate than the second one. And even though for the second one, I needed to be there for a family funeral, the hotel would not work with me on the price. I would recommend staying on the third floor if possible, as... More

IOn Saturday January 21st my company to which I am one of the principals held our 45th anniversary at the Swan Club. We booked 60 rooms at the Roslyn Clarement hotel and our hostess Katie Russo was so cooperative and gracious in handling all the accomodations. Our employees who stayed at the hotel said it was a wonderful experience. I... More

The rooms are a little dark and outdated but clean, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are updated and filled with proper amenities. The front desk staff are reasonably helpful and the location is one block from the main street in town. This is not a full service hotel and it doesn't pretend to be. Ask for a room... More

Let me start off by saying that the Roslyn Claremont is not your typical hotel. The hotel is located in the idyllic town of Roslyn which is about 200 years old (formerly Harbor Hempstead). Anyway, the hotel is easily accessible from I-495, has a pleasant location two blocks from the town center and is a very sweet inn. It has... More

Checked into a single for two nights to be close to a party. Small building has charm and fronts on an inlet of Long Island Sound on one side and a high-speed 4- or 5-lane roadway on the other side. Try and charm your way into a room facing the Sound, otherwise you'll do battle at night with (as I... More

My husband and I were married this past June 2011 and had our wedding reception at the Royalton in Roslyn Heights. When we were doing research for where our friends and family were going to stay for the 1-2 nights that same weekend, we were nervous because the area of Roslyn isn't plentiful when it comes to lodging, but lucky... Many of us came from out of town, and this hotel and its staff were great. Katie was great to me, I came from Florida and needed lots of info for myself and many family members, and she always came through for me. The rooms were clean and spacious and I slept well. The holiday decorations were very well done,... More

Hotel was lovely; like a large B&B. Gracious, helpful staff.

This hotel sits right on the road, leading to a bit of noise in the rooms. But the rooms were clean, and spacious. Bed was comfortable. I liked the aroma of the bath soap so much, smelled like tea, that housekeeping gave me a few extra bars to take home! Breakfast area left a lot to be desired. No tables... More

Our suite is small but expensive. Bed is hard. Room coffee taste horrible. No restaurant and the lobby bar is under stocked. The. Decorations in the room are nice. No Wi fi. Looks like they are cutting back due to the economy. My advice is to look for a better hotel with the money you'll be spending here.
