We originally booked three nice here but decided to only stay one night. It was very clean and well maintained and the bathrooms were spotless. Water was hot and easy set up but found it to be a little bit far from where we wanted to be. Sites are wide open, not a whole lot of privacy either. Although if... More

My favorite spot. Camp here for the dog shoes every Fall. Tenting ok. Excellent for RVs. Nice concession stand. Many memories here. Showers are ok. Could be improved. Spacious sites with stone drive in areas. Electric only. No water hookups.

We camped at Sampson in a fifth wheel, for 3 nights. Enjoyed having a 30 amp electric hookup, though be aware that the hookup boxes are shared by two sites, so the box isn't always on the correct side of your camper. We had to use two long electric cords to reach the box. Also, water faucets are not always... More

We absolutely loved this park. This was our first time camping as a family with our 3 and 6 year olds and stayed in an electric site (with our tent). The site were very large and grassy. Bathrooms were clean and very nice. There was so much to keep us and both children entertained - no one wanted to go... More

We love Sampson and go nearly every year. Big sites with electric. Very good and clean bathroom facilities and a lovely marina. So much to do nearby with wineries, Watkins Glen State Park, Corning Glass, and so much more!

Spent 4 days on loop 5, great site with lovely trees, wide sites, clean free shower. Site 222 best spot. Museum worthwhile visit. Get your groceries before hand. Brand new hardtop roads. Great spot. Lake is choppy on Park side, much calmer down the west shore. Boat rental at Roy's was a treat especially cruising down the Seneca Cayuga canal.... More

Clean park, good facilities, and lots for the kids to do. Good access to Seneca Lake. It is a must to visit the museum, it tells the history of the park. They ask for minimal donation and it is well worth it. It will be probably become an annual stop for our family.

WE arrived on 01.08.15 the 70th anniversary of the end of World War Two. The U.S. Navy and airforce soldiers trained at Sampson military base were having an open day and reunion. -a really touching event which moved us greatly.Loads of fee actors and military collectors - plenty to do and a great free museum. Fantastic that the national parks... More

Spend a few days here while seeing the Finger Lakes Region. Nice spot to be in as it is central to a lot of attractions. Sites are large, bathrooms are very clean and well done. Water pressure is very low, but that was OK with us. Has a beach area, marina, walking trails etc. I would return

I camped here in July 2015. It's a beautiful park with a lot to do. We stayed in Cabin 6. Do not ever stay in this cabin! It is infested with carpenter ants and the roof of the deck has a wasp and hornet nest in it. Other than our cabin issues, I would recommend camping in this park. The... More
