We stayed here for a wedding which was nearby to the hotel. We read the reviews ahead of time and were apprehensive but it was very close to the wedding location and at worst we figured we'd only be staying 1 night. When we got there, the front desk staff was friendly and attentive to our needs. Our car died... more

Ray, from when I began planning this trip was so helpful - trying to make sure to accommodate our every need. Once we arrived there, he was even more helpful - making sure that we got what we needed..refrigerator, roll away bed, giving us tips about the neighborhood..The rooms where clean and had comfortable beds, great bathroom in the Jr... more

This place is in dire need of a cleaning! Tired from top to bottom. Every carpet is stained, sidewalks broken, furniture needs replacing, etc., etc. The Lodge looks good when you drive up but once you reach your room you will have second thoughts. I would not recommend a stay here. The huge billboard advertising "a brand new hotel" must... more

My daughter, son and I wanted to go see Bethel Woods, the location of the 1969 Woodstock music festival. We need to get a hotel in the area for 2 nights. First off, the hotel selection in this area is very limited. First I tried Honor's Haven, but they were booked. Then I tried Villa Roma - they were full,... more

This is hotel that took me by surprise. The rooms are like all those others you've stayed in, whether it's a Marriott or something else. It is unfair to compare it to a luxury 5 star hotel (I've stayed in those also). It's clean, nice and quiet. BUT here's the thing--it has a big party/conference room too and we went... more

We recently stayed at the Lodge at Rock Hill while visiting the Catskills and enjoyed our experience. The property is conveniently located, so made it great for us as a family. The rooms are well appointed and the furnishings were comfortable and quiet. The bathroom is spacious and very clean (important point to me)! Upon check-in, the front desk workers... more

No hot water the entire 3 nights. I reserved a refrigerator, that was put in my room 24 hours after I arrived. Large stains on underside of bedspread. My bed was made one day out of 3. Once they came in to empty the wastebasket in bathroom, and did nothing else. The worst was I had several crystal bracelets stolen... more

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Our staff puts so much effort into trying to please our guests as best we can and we take it seriously when someone is unhappy. Quite honestly, we are perplexed about the hot water. After you complained about it to our front desk, our maintenance man checked...

All I wanted was a clean simple room, decent food and friendly service.. but that was asking WAY too much. The desk staff was very rude. The hotel itself appeared to have been stuck in the 1972 leaving its heyday well behind. The smells of mold, smoke and trash made it difficult to walk through the halls and lobby area... more

We are extremely sorry that this guest did not have a pleasant stay. However, it might be possible that the guest has mistaken us for a different hotel, due to the fact that we do not have a dining area. Our doors that enter the hallways and individual rooms are stained wooden doors, not painted. I would suggest to other...

OK, so the outside of the place is a little shabby in places - you can tell they probably do not have a full time staff handling every aspect of landscaping and upkeep, but this isn't the Plaza people. We stayed in one of the jacuzzi suites and found the room to be very clean. The entire bathroom was granite,... more

Considering the deterioration of the lodging in this area, this seemed to be one of the better choices of a bad lot. Accordingly, we were not expecting great things. It turned out that our expectations were greatly exceeded, and it was a comfortable and pleasant stay. Perhaps the difference with our experience contrasted with some of the others is that... more
