We travel a LOT on business & always stay at Marriotts and there are usually lots of youth groups/teens also staying in the hotels. Never have problems w/ noise in other Marriotts, but every time we've stayed at this one, parents go to the lobby to party all night and kids ranging from 8yrs to 16 are left to run... More

Here at the Courtyard Rochester / Brighton, we strive to make sure that every guest is taken care of and experiences a trouble free stay. We apologize that the noise disturbances that you encountered were troubling and caused a sleepless night. The hotel takes measures to make sure noise levels are kept low, however in this case, we failed and... More

A quality property. The standout features to me were the bed and bedding, both of very high quality. The room was very quiet for sleeping. The pool, hot tub, and fitness facility were also well planned, clean and functional.

Stayed here for parent's weekend at RIT because where we typically stay was unavailable. For the price, this was a good buy. Nothing extraordinary in the way of service or room amenities, just the basic Courtyard experience.

We have stayed at this Marriott multiple times. The service is always excellent, above and beyond expectations. The staff are well trained and attentive. They have a convenient complimentary airport shuttle. The rooms are well appointed and quiet. The bistro is more than adequate for breakfast and late night snacks. One of the best restaurants in Rochester, Phillips European, is... More

Hosted our hockey team (there were actually several hockey teams at the hotel), the hotel staff were very accommodating and allowed full use of the facilities including their lobby for everyone. The hotel was clean, in a pretty central location, easy to find. The hotel staff were very patient with our 17 ten year olds! Only complaint was the really... More

Why not 5 stars? Because the hotel doesn't include breakfast and the breakfast items available at the cafe are, I'd say, a little pricey. But delicious, and served with friendliness and speed. This is a great hotel, complete with workout room, pool & hot tub, and every single person working here was kind and efficient. It's clean, updated, easy to... More

We were traveling to a school reunion in Rochester. This hotel was conveniently located and reasonably priced for our stay, and we were pleased that we decided to stay here. No free breakfasts, but the offerings in the cafe included Starbucks, so it could have been worse!

This is the third time we have stayed at this hotel during Parent's Weekend at RIT. Our stays have been so consistently good that I felt it was time to write and let them know! Always courteous, attentive staff which is HUGE! The rooms are large, well appointed and always fresh and clean. We also love the bistro concept. Not... More

We were here for a wedding and frankly its important that the hotel be a place to interact comfortably with family and still be reasonably priced and generally nice. It was all of that and more. Their food bar was way too expensive so we did not eat there, but it was easy to find other places nearby. In general... More

I was put up at the Courtyard Marriott by the University of Rochester on a recent business trip. The room was large, the bed comfortable, the amenities very good, there was a large desk for working, and the WiFi was free (not always the case these days). However, the real surprise was the Bistro open for drinks at night and... More
