This hotel is now Radisson and I stayed here with my wife and 4-year-old son on 6/26/2009. There was summer concert right in front of the hotel and East Main St. was blocked over the bridge leading to the hotel entrance. The cops were very friendly and directed us to go around the block and another cop let us in... more

I stayed for 3 nights at the Clarion for a conference on Mar 3-6, 2009. The rooms were decent, very clean, and the bedspreads seemed new. The bathrooms were clean and the vanity/sink area seems to be new. Showers were decent. There was a chair and ottoman in the room that was very comfy. The view was good, we had... more

Although I am local, I stay at this hotel once or twice a year due to various charity events at the convention center. They did a great job on the remodel. It looks fresh and updated. Except the gigantic 80's chandelier need to GO! It was a little gross prior to that. The tub are is still a bit gross... more

My husband and I stayed here for one night over the weekend. We were reasonably happy with the room, as it was comfortable, large and clean. However, the area amenities were pathetic. We could not find an open restaurant, corner store, drug store or anything like that. We ended up having to order Pizza Hut to our room, because there... more

We stayed with a large group of people for the labourday weekend DCA Championships. I&E were being held at the hotel, so there was a LOT going on that weekend. The staff was very friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for our group. They hooked us up with conference rooms for our corps meetings, they had the courtesy shuttle... more

While the accomodations were fine, the bar was closed and downtown Rochester is not the place you want to go walkabout at night looking for a cocktail. The restauarant was only doing a rather meagre buffet....and breakfast was just as bad. $12 for a cold bufffet of scrambled plastic eggs, burnt bacon and fried potatoes. And they ASKED for a... more

We were very disappointed with this reservation. When we arrived at the hotel, they explained that "Expedia overbooked" and the room we requested was not available. We were downgraded to a room with one bed, which was unacceptable to us, but too late to do anything about. Then they explained that they had no available parking due to a wedding... more
