We have just returned from a visit to Rochester New York. We wanted a hotel near the Park Avenue area and found this was very convenient. Having read previous reveiws we were wary of booking and booked 2 nights initially but ended up staying for 5 nights. The room was spacious and although in need of a fresh coat of... more

When I first pulled into the parking lot, I thought I was in trouble! The building looked old. Once I walked through the front doors, my whole impression began to change. The staff was very nice. The rooms were very clean. The location is one of the best in town!! They even offer wireless internet. I gave a briefing to... more

I was told it was due to the proximity of the room to where the hotel keeps its trash. When I got to the second room,... more

Very small bathroom and poorly-masked water damage on the ceilings, but the room didn't smell. Ask for a room at the far end of the parking lot to avoid bar/club noise. Very friendly and helpful staff,... more

I arrived at the hotel in a snow blizzard one evening in March on foot. The Hotel is fairly centrally located on the 'better' side of town and easy to find as East Avenue is a main artery. It is very near the Museums/cultural institutions (George Eastman House, Strong Museum, Visual Studies Workshop, Memorial Art Gallery) and a range of... more
