I stay at the Doubletree whenever I visit Rochester. It is a very nice and quiet hotel. On weekdays I can spend a quiet afternoon in the hot tub or pool without being bothered. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are up to date with nice decor and a comfy bed. The bathrooms are nicely remodeled and the... more

Very nice hotel, but overnight front desk employee was very rude, and made no effort to assist me with several questions. more

I do like this hotel a lot so allow me to let you know what I do not care for but overall this property is a good choice for the area. The hotel is a bit worn, the carpets show their age, some of the furnishings are a bit dated, the fitness room has some dated gear, the shower needs... more

The staff was so nice and welcoming. Made it seem like I was going home each night instead of back to a lonely hotel room. They greeted me with my name each time I walked in the door. more

Going to Rochester for the past 10 years, I have stayed at most if not all the hotels in the area and I find this the best of the group. From check in to check out, I've always had a good stay. The cookies aren't too bad either. 15 minutes to the airport, chain restaurants nearby (if that's what you... more

Our team of 16 kids and their families recently stayed at this hotel. It was well located near shopping and restaurants on the outskirts of Rochester. The small pool area was well kept and had a lifeguard. There was a great fitness area and sports bar in the atrium. The staff were very pleasant to deal with. more

Having had a bad experience at the Doubletree at JFK, I was reluctant to try another. However in the most recent of our frequent trips to Rochester, we stayed at the Doubletree in Rochester. IT WAS GREAT!! Bed was very comfortable, lots of space in the hotel room. Breakfast was perfect. We arrived during a snowstorm and they allowed us... more

Our family of three booked two nights at the Doubletree Hotel using a discounted rate of $139/night offered through our affiliation with the University of Rochester. The room was booked via phone reservation in August - for a visit in October. At the time of booking, we were given the choice of a king bed or two doubles, and our... more

I stayed at the Doubletree for one night to attend a meeting in Rochester. The hotel has a shuttle from the airport, which was very convenient. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed. The wireless connection, however, was very weak so working on line was difficult. The staff was very friendly and provided a great dinner recommendation. The free... more
