My room (431) was so dirty and reeked of mold. I went there with my family and the air conditioning wasn't working so the room was 80 degrees. When I called the front desk they just told me to open the window. Well my 1 year old baby would fall right out that since there's no screens! Wanted to make... More

My room was nice, and had all that I needed. The motel is generally clean. Pool isn't the greatest (didn't use, but checked it out). They only have two elevators, and they are slow. I only ate one meal there, but it was good, and they knew how to make a drink. Airport van was quick and smooth. My trip... More

I had read previous reviews that were terrible, but I thought this place was ok. Yes, it could use some updating, but the room, linens and towels were clean, the shower head was great, and there was plenty of hot water. Oh - the bed was comfortable too. Didn't use ant of the facilities (dining room, pool, etc.) so I... More

Stayed at the Plaza over the weekend with friends. For the price only so-so at best. Definitely pricey with only nominal benefits to ease the pain. Parking is sometimes a chore with the hotel full and special occasions going on. Bar room is OK but again pricey on mixed drinks - beers nominal price. Rooms were ok, but the bathrooms... More

While on trip to Niagara Falls on last weekend(August 23/24) from New York, our Tour Operator put us in Rochester Plaza hotel for overnight stay.Hotel is indeed very good in terms of cleanliness and facilities. However, it certainly needs better upkeep in keeping with its reputation To make a specific mention, the room in which we stayed(no 439) had a bath... We recently stayed at the Rochester Plaza for a wedding. It was a clean hotel with a nice staff. I thought all of the rooms had been renovated in the last 18 months but I think they missed our room. It was clean just looked outdated and definitely worn. The lobby and ballrooms were fine. They certainly need to invest... More

This hotel isn't too bad. My room was clean and modern, except the bathroom seemed to need an update. The front desk that greeted me when I arrived was very nice, but when I returned at night, there was man there that just wasn't nice. He didn't want to answer any of questions and just didn't seem happy to be... More

This hotel is quite dated and furnishings look like they have seen better days! I think the Hotel has gotten their moneys worth, time to replace the carpet, drapes and update the bathrooms. Cleanliness was OK, not spotless. Beds were better than expected. I was warned not to accept a room above the Ballroom on Sat. nights as they have... More

Room was basic but clean. The beds were comfortable and the wifi was fast. Had some nice waffles for breakfast the next morning at the hotel restaurant. We really had no complaints. Overall it was a pleasant stay.

I ordered a room with 2 queens. When I checked in the staff gave me a king - This is not enough room for 4 adults. I insisted the front desk (manager! I later learned) named Robin give me a room with 2 queens or just cancel the reservation. She said she had no room (the hotel was empty you... More
