After visiting Rochester for many years and staying at over 8 different hotels, we finally decided to try this B&B. It made our trip so much more wonderful! The hosts are warm and helpful, yet allow you your privacy. The home is absolutely beautiful, with a sunny living room with fireplace and couches, large bedrooms with great linens and beds... More

Thank you so much for reviewing our property. It is a very different experience from hotels - and although it may be a few dollars more, we offer so many amenities (Free wi-fi access, free bottled water, complimentary beverages, fresh baked cookies, full breakfast plus). We like to think that we offer value by providing these things with our compliments.... More

We have stayed in B&B's before and we know a little about them from our experience. Without any experience we would still say this has got to be the best B&B in New York. The rooms are amazing. The location is perfect. The owner is very very good at hospitality. We would love to stay here again. We don't get... More

A beautiful historic home in a fabulous area of Rochester. Every last detail in this home is stunning and the rooms immaculate. The neighbourhood is fabulous to walk around with beautiful architecture and the location is close to many good restaurants and a terrific bakery that opens at six am for earlier risers!

We have stayed in many B and B 'S in the USA and this was certainly one of the best. Great hospitality, room, food and the wonderful Edibles restaurant in the near vicinity. If we visited Rochester again, we wish, we would not consider anywhere else. Susanne and Ray, visitors from the UK

An elegant beauty surrounded by the the mansions of Rochester. Less than 1 block away is the cutest neighborhood of Rochester, Park Ave for dining, shopping and strolling. On East Ave, is the Eastman Estate and the Planetarium. Short walk is the Art Museum. A great area for a summer stroll. This B&B is so beautiful, so maticulously maintained in... More

Had a perfect 3 night stay at this B&B and enjoyed ourselves immensely. The Inn is situated in a great neighborhood for restaurants and also close to the Eastman House. The house itself has been painstakingly restored and the innkeepers have taken every step to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are very welcoming and the common... More

We stayed overnight at the Harris House this weekend and enjoyed it very much. The location is within walking distance of the Eastman House, Art Museum and the Park Avenue restaurants and shops. The room was comfortable and quiet, the included breakfast has items for gluten allergies and the staff is very friendly and very professional.

Three years ago we stayed at the Edward Harris House and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our second visit in July was just as impressive. We were warmly welcomed back and this time we were in the lovely and comfortable Emily's Suite. Each morning we were served a delicious breakfast that was prepared and presented with pride. We certainly recommend the... More

Stayed twice, once for a week, and both times we really enjoyed it. So friendly, a home away from home with a cooked breakfast too. We'd recommend it. Much better than the formula hotels we usually stay in.

I spent two nights in Emily's Suite at this charming establishment. My room was absolutely perfect - tastefully decorated without being overdone - a very difficult balance to hit. With the small desk and large comfy chair with ottoman, it was also supremely comfortable. The location is hard to beat - a very quiet spot but with an easy walk... More
