We had asked for a non-smoking room on the phone, when we arrived, they gave us a smoking room. There was a dirty ashtray on the floor by the head of the bed. The toilet wouldn't flush. There was no clock in the room (although they did have a wake up service). The bathtub was so bad that I decided... More

Scheduled to fly out on December 23, 2008, I had to change my itinerary to December 24; I stayed at Motel 6 because it was close to the airport. Bed was hard, hot water in shower did not work, no drinking glasses in the room. But the worst of it was....BED BUGS. I developed an itchy rash all over my... More

The staff was very friendly and the laundry room appliances operated very well but other than that I would not recommend this motel to any human beings. Both beds were broken to the point where I put my box springs in the hallway and slept on the mattress. HBO channel faded in and out, no alarm clock, sinks, baths and... More

Starting with the location on a desolate road towards the airport (dark at night) to the smells in the lobby, this had the makings of a problematic stay. The front desk was friendly enough, but there were all other kinds of problems. The security door to get into the building was open, the stairs and hall were dirty and run... More

I have stayed in several Motel 6's throughout New England and have never really had a problem. The motel on Buell Rd. in Rochester was something else. First off I would like to address that the staff was very nice. I had no problems with that. The room on the other hand could really have used some work. The room... More

Jun 1, 2007 Pemcorgi, Upstate NY First the reservation was screwed up - I had requested a handicap room for one, changed it to two person - was assured i could also get the handicap accommodation - when checking in,the motel was under construction, no handicap room, was put on the second floor, debris in hallway and bathroom (tub), towels... We have stayed in several Motel 6's throughout the US. As we all know they are plain and simple, but are usually clean and maintained. This one is not...it needs to be remodeled and cleaned. The halls are very dirty, the outside glass doors are cloudy from dirt and handprints. The rooms were in need of a thorough cleaning, the... More

Our non-smoking room smelled of smoke and the beds were uncomfortable. The washroom was small with small bath towels and no shampoo or hair dryer. The lobby was smelly. The staff were friendly, though. This motel was no different from most cheap motels.

I stayed here as I had a very early flight out of Rochester. Only needed the motel for a few hours to shower and sleep. I arrived at around 1:45 AM. It took a good 10 minutes to check me in. I had reserved the room throught the internet, not I should have just had to show my credit card... More
