My wife stayed here for the first time while visiting family and was pleasantly surprised how clean and well kept this motel was. Don't get me wrong. It is outdated but we were happy to find a clean and comfortable motel in this area. We will definitely be staying here quite a few times a year. It would be great... More

I chose this hotel based upon price and location only, after looking up hotels in the area of Oneonta, NY. Though this property is abouit 20 miles to the northeast, it was worth every extra minute in the car, and every dollar spent. To be brief: the room was large and clean, the bed comfortable, the linens plush. A kitchenette... More

If you are staying at a Red Carpet Inn, you already know that you have chosen a budget-level hotel. We knew that as we were meandering around the Catskills and Berkshires for a weekend and just needed a clean place to sleep and get a shower. This worked well. Friendly guy at check-in. Offered suggestions for good local places to... More

My husband and I took a weekend road trip out to Howe Caverns and Cooperstown and we ended up booking a room at this Red Carpet Inn. Since most of our Saturday was spent driving and packing we were just looking forward to getting into the room and relaxing. We booked this room in advance online and I wasn't sure... More

We were forced to stop because of bad weather on the way home from the holidays. The Red Carpet Inn was close and the price was right. The gentleman behind the desk was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean, large, and comfortable. It even had a mini fridge and microwave! Its a little noisy- probably the walls are pretty... More

The hotel in general was just ok, not great. The room seemed clean, but definitely a one night stay hotel. The shower did not work in our room. There was no place to turn the shower on. This was a first for us. I must admit the air conditioner worked well.

we had a reservation for 3 nights and after being in the room for 10 minutes, I was on the computer looking for another motel. Due to the glimmerglass festival, there wasn't another room to be had. There was a multitude of bugs...dead and alive sharing our room. The bathroom was a wreck...the vanity was falling apart..the standup shower had... More

Ok for one night is an accurate description but I had a few issues. I made my reservation via the phone but when I got there they had no record of my reservation. The girl at the counter had no way to verify. Although the manager came out to help, he looked a mess to say it mildly. Made me... More

I stayed here with some family while in town for a family reunion. It was your typical affordable motel/inn. The beds weren't amazing and the rooms were a little outdated and had a few quirks. It took forever to check in, but the guy at the desk was very friendly. Apparently they serve breakfast, but it's not the kind of... More

The room was clean, quiet and comfortable for a one night stay. The person who checked us in was friendly and made a good restaurant suggestion. The next morning I went to the lobby area for coffee and to check out the breakfast. NO COFFEE anywhere. Pots were there, nothing made, no coffee that I could find. It was about... More
