Our team stayed for a week last summer at the Lake House while our boys were playing in a Dreams Park Baseball Tournament in Cooperstown. The lodge overlooks the lake and has a lots of lake frontage. We had so much space to have a place for the other kids to play, we hosted a team party on the lawn,... more

What interests us most when we travel, is to visit places that are unique, comfortable and interesting. We aren't fans of big places or chain type hotels/motels. We want to be off the beaten path in a place that will create a memory for us. We found exactly what we were looking for when we recently spent the weekend at... more

A large group of us with boys playing at Dreams Park in Cooperstown chose the Lake House as our base of operations. We are all very athletic and some of us even brought our bikes- although we didn't have much time to do anything but watch the boys play, we did have the chance to ride around the lake- about... more

This weekend we attended the Pumpkin Fest in Cooperstown. What fun watching the giant pumpkins being weighed and buying some treats from the local vendors! We love Cooperstown and although it is not far from our home, we decided to have a weekend away and booked a room at the Lake House in Richfield Springs. Our room overlooked the lake... more

Late this summer, we decided to take our boys to see the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown for the first time. We chose the Lake House in Richfield Springs to give them a different kind of experience from the usual motel/hotel and we wanted to be able to do other things after we were at the Hall of Fame.... more

We stayed at the Lake House in Richfield Springs, a place loaded with charm and class. We had a relaxing afternoon by the lake, picnicing on a lunch we ordered in the tavern, watching the geese and ducks on the lake and taking in the gorgeous fall foliage. Our room had a view of the lake, the bed was so... more

My husband and I are talking a leisurely trip through New York State and happened upon the Lake House- a cute restaurant with rooms upstairs that have great views of the small lake that it sits beside. We had a delicious dinner, a very comfortable sleep, equally delicious breakfast and then sat beside the lake with our cups of hot... more

Last summer we had the opportunity of a lifetime to take our son to Cooperstown to play at Dreams Park with his team. We found the Lake House in Richfield Springs for all of us to stay while the kids were there. We arrived on Friday to find a pleasant staff, comfortable rooms, beautiful lake, yummy food in the restaurant... more

My husband and I took a weekend to get-a-away with our kayaks, and we were lucky to find The Lake House, a great B&B/Restaurant right on the lake -- Lake Canadaraga, which is 6 miles long and a bit more than 10 miles from Cooperstown. We had an incredible time kayaking on this lake, but I really want to review... more

We found the Lake House Cottage on the internet for weekly lodging where you can take your boat and have your own house. We used Trip Advisor reviews as a guide and booked the Cottage for a week in August. The Cottage is new construction built only feet from the shoreline and has cedar shakes and large operable windows for... more
