I cannot believe this place passed even the most basic state inspections. There are a lot of negatives about this place. We had 2 rooms. One had wires where the smoke detector used to be. The TV had a plastic board across the bottom and did not work. One room had a constant dripping from the tub with a strong... More

The reservation was made 1 month ahead. The room was not cleaned and the bathroom was leaking water. The person at the desk looked at me like I had 3 heads when I complained about the condition of the room. I cancelled the room and then they still put the charge through on the charge card after they said they... More

Good location, but that is where it ends. I was waiting for Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins) to show up with the local phone book. Went to McDonalds in Hyde Park to complete this picture and ordered off the 'value menu' . A bad dream ' bete noir) if ever there was one.

I was the only traveler staying there the night I did, and that should have been a big hint. It was fairly clean, but that's it for the good side. The bed was uncomfortable, the TV (mounted high on a wall) had bad reception, the promised wifi simply didn't work or wasn't there. I'd have called the desk about it... More

One of the worst motel experiences I have ever had!!!!!! The experience was so bad, I almost couldn't fall asleep. • Old and dirty • Stained bath mat • No pillowcases • Water smelled heavily of sulfur • Hole in comforter • Hole under radiator in bathroom, small animals can enter • Old beds, worn out and need to be... My wife and kids had a very good, recent experience at this nice clean motel. The price was right! The people were very nice; we even met the owner who was very nice and accommodating with area information. I would recommend this place for a good local place. It's not a chain hotel - shop local first!

The owners were very pleasant and the desk clerk friendly and helpful. Room was clean and all the basics are covered. The price was right and we will definitely stay again.

Contacted the owner prior to booking & asked if it was wheelchair accessible. Owner said yes. When we arrived, there was a step up (not accessible if you don't have the upper body strength to get over it or if you use a motorized chair. Trying to get me over the step caused me to fall out of the chair... More

We read the reviews here and decided to go ahead a book anyway because the location was perfect and the price was right and we are not fussy. For the same money we have stayed in worse places in Kingston. The room was clean enough (i.e. not very - but not gross) and the basics were all provided: plenty of... More

Agreed with chitown's post: Negatives : * Dirty bed (sheets were clean, but stained) * Dirty floor (saw a fingernail clipping) * Water smelled heavily of sulfur so then the whole bathroom did. So we didn't want to shower. * We had to air out the room because it smelled so heavily of strawberry room "freshener" but couldn't open the... More
