Rhinebeck is almost too quaint and charming, but has some lovely shops and a fantastic small independent cinema. The Looking Glass B&B is easy walking distance to all these and is situated on a really quiet and peaceful road. Cari the host is most helpful and welcoming and my room was spacious and comfortable, with private bathroom attached. Breakfast was... more

Looking Glass could use some fine tuning in my opinion. 1st and formost Breakfast could have easily been better. We just has some pillsbury rolls, a flavored bread, some quick store bought heat and serve quiche type things and some fruit salad. I believe the decor should be looked at some things just don't belong where they are. Maybe a... more

We couldn't say enough to praise this quaint home from home. My parents( both of whom are in their mid seventies ), husband and myself stayed for 10 days on a trip of nostalgia. Cari made this trip one that we will never forget. Her breakfasts ( not easy to vary when your guests chose to stay for 10 consecutive... more

We just spent two days at the Looking Glass and had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. The inn was charming, comfortable and immaculate and the innkeeper was gracious and couldn't have been more accommodating. The location is convenient to many activities and our quick getaway to Rhinebeck surpassed our expectations in every way. more

I cannot say enough good things about the Looking Glass, charming and meticulous, and the innkeepers are delightful!! I make frequent trips to Rhinebeck and this has become my home away from home. It isn't easy to find such great accomodations in busy Rhinebeck, especially so close to the village. The rooms are comfortable, the common areas spacious, the big... more

This is an adorable bed and breakfast with very close proximity to Rhinebeck Village. My room was private, well decorated, and had a wonderful view. I have stayed at many B&B's and would definitely stay at The Looking Glass again! more

As always, we had a great time at The Looking Glass B&B...this was our second of three stays in less than a year! This time we stayed upstairs in Mittens' Room. Rhinebeck is a fun little town with lots of things to do...good dining, shopping, antiquing, auctions, community theater, etc. The B&B is very cozy and welcoming, which is just... more

The Looking Glass B&B is an absolutely wonderful inn, located within a few minutes walk of great shops, restaurants and the fairgrounds in Rhinebeck. Cari makes the most delicious breakfasts ever. After staying there the past two years, we have a standing reservation during the New York State Sheep and Wool Festival in October. Cari goes out of her way... more

We booked a room online for two nights, giving a one night deposit immediately, 3 weeks after we booked we received a call from the innkeeper saying that she over booked for that weekend and had to cancel our room. Although she did offer to help find us another room - HOW CAN YOU OVER BOOK A 4 ROOM INN... more

My husband and I were nothing but completely impressed with this B&B. In addition to the delicious multi-course breakfast and lovely interior, the Innkeeper is an absolute delight. Very helpful and friendly. It's an easy walk to the cute Rhinebeck shops and restaurants, too. Can't wait to stay there again!!!! more
