Clean, comfortable, everything we expected. The small kitchen was remarkably well stocked... pans, glasses... anything we were looking for. The one central heat source was remarkably adequate, although it did cycle a bit between too hot / too cold. Very pleasant hosts. Nice area. Bring your camera!

We stayed in cabin 2 on the weekend that the entire east coast was hit with a blizzard (February 2013). My family and friends of ours (totaling 6 ) and my 2 dog all stayed in one cabin. Why do people go all the way to the Adirondacks? The Tug Hill has state land to explore and Redfield Reservoir is a gem.....plus all the SNOW!!!!!! Thìs is a wonderful place to stay, but bring your own groceries and cook in the cabins because restaurants are fewand far between. The one nearby is bad. We had a wonderful stay!... More

Well, after almost a year of researching this scathing review I find that, yes, there are "two sides to every story".
