My girlfriend and I booked a stay at the Inn at Quogue at the beginning of August, when we arrived on the 26 October (from the UK), the Inn was a building site, and the phone was disconnected. We had travelled up from New York on the Jitney bus service and were dropped off in Quogue right in front of... More

There is little competition for this inn, so the location is what makes it because it's near the beach (a drive or bike ride) and easy access to the Hamptons. We were here at the height of the summer season, so we were expecting a great experience. Only OK for $350+ per night. It is difficult to find some of... More

The inn was lovely but there is a very energetic and loud bar (not run by the inn) downstairs. Room 8 is directly above it. The bar is open Thursday to Saturday til between 2 and 3 a.m. We were unable to get any sleep. The bartender told us Saturday night that the inn rarely rents this room out due... More

My wife found the Inn at Quogue online and I have to admit I had some concerns about staying there after reading some of the more negative reviews but our stay was quite different. The room was quaint and clean. It was cleaned each day, the bed made, new towels supplied and the garbage removed. We stayed mid-week (with our... More

Cozy room with a cooler to hold drinks,Housekeeper did not change sheets or add new towels or empty out overflowed garbage on my last day.Inn is across the street from a cafe and down the block from other shops in town.Nothing to do in town at night so a car is a necessity for entertainment purposes at other nearby towns,

We stayed at The Inn at Quogue days prior to Hurricane Irene - an impromptu trip to see friends in the area. Based on the Trip Advisor comments/ratings I had no intention of calling the Inn but my husband liked how close it was to the restaurants, shops and our friends and convinced me to check it out...I'm happy he... Stayed there labor day weekend. The place is a dump. No hot water one night. The mattress was hard and the pillows cheap and lumpy. The noise from the bar comes right up intot the room until 1:30am. They don't change the sheets or vacuum the room. No soap in the bathroom when we arrived. Towels and the comforter had... More

I am sorry about your stay here at the Inn. The problem with the water was taken care of and the restaurant was not busy that weekend. As management I check every room before every check in. Discounts are not given due to the fact that problem was fixed before check out. More

So we arrive at 3:45 PM....... and no one is in the office... we leave a message... it is now 10:20 PM and we are still waiting for a return call. What a joke. The family needs linens and towels .... no reponse. No one left a key, directions or anything......you are on your own. The good news is the... More

I do apologize about your unsatisfied experience with the Inn before. You will be happy to know that it is under different management now and we have someone at the desk at all times during business hours. We also now have policies and procedures in place in the event a guest checks in after hours, and we do have an... More

We stayed in the cottage for half price ($350 per night) Monday to Wednesday, great location but it is let down by an apparent lack of any money being spent on upkeep and not much on cleaning - the same piece of paper towel sat in the lobby for our whole stay! Quogue is a beautiful location away from the... More

We do apologize that the cleaning standards back then were not up to par. However, the Inn has since come under new management and we have made many improvements in cleanliness as well as the upkeep of the Inn in general. We do still offer the 50% discount Monday through Wednesday during the Summer months. We invite you to come... More

We stayed at the Inn at Quogue for two nights in mid July. We were new to the Hamptons and were very much aware of the high price of accommodations and food, etc... However, after spending two nights and paying almost $750 for a small single room, we felt ripped off. Although the place is not a dirty disaster that... More

I am sorry you had this experience. I want to say that we have a new staff that is extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the surrounding area and what there is to do. As for the water in the bathroom the building is over 200 years old so rust does build up, These problems should have been addressed prior to... More
