We have visited this indoor waterpark twice so far and we had a great time. It is a very nice lodge and the rooms are nice too. The waterpark is just big enough to feel safe letting our kids have a little freedom but not so huge that we felt we were going to lose them. We would recommend indoor... More

We stayed for one night during the last week of July 2010. I sensed that it might not meet up the the rave reviews it had received from my cousin who visited in January early on in the adventure. The main attraction, the water park, was fun, but when I went to find a spot for my towels, I found... More

We stayed at the Great Escape over Labor Day. For your money you get your room and admission to the water park. But the water park is not as big as it appears. There really is no pool really to swim in unless you sort of try in the lazy river. Some of the slides weren't even open. It wasn't... More

Six Flags Great Escape Lodge falls into the category of, "we are the only game in town with an indoor water park, so we will treat you as awful as we want and not only will you like it, you will come back." The hotel was actually nice, the room was clean, and the reception area is kid friendly with... More

Stayed here for one night so that we could go to the 6 Flags Theme park the following day. The package for one night was $460 which included breafast. On arrival, the room wasnt ready and looked like we were one of many customers in this situation. So we went and sat by the indoor water park and got screwed... More

This place should go down in the cheap ripoff hall of fame. My family and I went there three years ago and had a blast in the indoor waterpark - simply because the main attraction water slides at the indoor park were actually open at that time!! This time during our entire stay they had one of the two main... More

We had a nice stay at this hotel. The rooms were large and clean and we loved the lodge theme. While doing my "cleanliness inspection" I discovered that the mattresses in our room were memory foam mattresses - a nice surprise and not something that I remembered reading in any of their advertising. We are now considering buying this type... More

My son and I stayed here for 2 nights during the week in March. We had no problems at check in and he used the indoor water park from 4pm to 7pm non-stop. When we first got there it was a little cowded but by the time 530-6pm rolled around, it was as if we were the only 2 people... More

My family and I have stayed here 4 times in the past 3 years and we have seen a steady decline in the cleanliness and overall feel of the lodge. Firstly, the location of the lodge is excellent if you plan on going to the Great Escape theme park. Unfortunately, the story gets worse from here. Previous times that we... More

We are a family of three, with a 2 year old toddler. The room was fine...but as one reviewer mentioned a bit on the dark side. Some of this has to do with the energy efficient light bulbs that they use...and part has to do with trying to make it feel like a cabin. The room was spacious, but the... More
