Stayed here for Americade week, the yearly motorcycle rally in Lake George. Friends of ours had booked 3 nights and the next day we were told that there was a 4 night minimum and they wouldn't accept anything less. So, we relented and booked the 4 nights. The hotel is convienient to the highway, or to Rt. 9 into Lake... more

We stayed overnight by chance on a roadtrip. Arrived at 1:00am and at first was hesitant. Area was spooky at that time of night...Hallways smelled of cigarette smoke...However, was pleasantly surprised with the room 156. Room was very clean and a normal size with a separate table and chairs and a minifridge. Bathroom was standard size, but there was a... more

The location is good, the staff is very friendly but the hotel is dated. The room we had with two full size beds was on the small side. If I were a business traveler, I wouldn't have liked the tiny desk that doubled as a nightstand between the beds. The floor lamp made a buzzing sound when in use. The... more

Upon arriving at the hotel we were very excited. As soon as we walked in the doors we were greeted with a smile and a very polite hello. The check in process was excellent. When we arrived to our room we were pleasantly surprised. Of course we had to go to the pool, very large area. Good for big families... more

After seeing the mixed reviews, I was a bit reluctant to book this place despite the bargain I received through Hotwire on short notice. Upon checking in, I was advised by a confused staffer, that my name was not on the register for this day and that in fact, I was a day early. This was despite calling immediately after... more

What a strange place. There's a grandiose entrance driveway lined with trees and flags, but when you round the bend you discover the hotel looks like the back of a bowling alley and is right on 1-87. Our room (#115) smelled - no, stank - of some cherry-scented cleaner. It was so bad we had to air out our clothes... more

We were a little worried as we approached the hotel as it sits right next to the interstate and looks quite dated. Luckily the lobby and front desk staff were both nice so we were less anxious about seeing our room. It turned out to be just fine. We had a room with 2 double beds. The room was large... more

This is from a very discriminating traveler, I was looking for a hotel to spend the night on my way from Brooklyn to Montreal and this hotel was in the perfect location and I liked the price they offered so I reserved a room at this hotel. Upon arriving there I was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this... more

We really enjoyed our stay at this above-average Ramada. This is an older hotel that is well maintained, but the thing that struck us most was the friendly attitude of the staff. Every houskeeper, front desk clerk, maintenance guy and server went out of their way to say hello. The rooms were very nice, although, next time I would request... more
