We booked this hotel on line. When we arrived the area was run down and bums, prostitutes and drug dealers were on the street. When called the hotel to cancel, a person by the name of Sonny became nasty and told us he was still going to charge our credit card. We plan to boycott every Howard Johnson because of there... More

Don't go by pictures. Doesn't show true picture. Right on the main street with trains in back. Run down creepy neighborhood. Scary, dirty, smelly, left after 1 night. Makeshift fitness and conference room in cellar. Hilarious. Several people complaining in lobby to point police were standing at door

They obviously were aware of it, as they had sprayed so much really bad deodorizer it choked me upon... More

A friend and I have been working in the states for 3 months, and decided to finish off by seeing NYC before heading home. As a young 19 year old girl and 21 year old man we wanted something cheap, basically a bed to stay in. We got a taxi to the hotel and the driver warned us of how... More
