My husband and I recently stayed at the Howard Johnson in Queens Village. Although not the best of hotels, it was average for the price we paid. We are both originally from Queens so we knew the area quite well. The hotel is located close to the LIRR (train) but the train was not a nuisance for us. When we... More

We stayed here based on the previous reviews. This is an average motel. The room was adequate. I checked the beds for bed bugs and there was none. I did see a couple of ants. This hotel is adjacent to a rail line so if you are a light sleeper I would not stay here. We had a room in... More

I spent 3 nights at the Howard Johnson Queens Village. Everything was great. When you enter the hotel the front desk staff is well trained and very helpful and so are the housekeepers. Whenever i needed something i called the front desk and my desired item was at my door within 5 minutes. Perfect place to stay when you are... More

I spent six nights at the Howard Johnson Inn Queens Village during a vacation and must admit that the hotel lives up to the GREAT reviews on Tripadvisor. Rooms are spacious, beds are confortable with LCD'S fitted in room, service is IMPRECCABLE. Free water and complimentary sweet and savoury snacks, a walk-in cupboard, iron and iron board, huge bathroom fitted... More

I would return there anytime :) Close to the railway station so you can get to Manhattan easily, but need to get off and change at penn station... More

I stayed one night at the Howard Johnson Queens Village in early October, 2011 because I had business at a nearby public high school early the next morning. I took the Amtrak from Albany to NY Penn Station and from there the Long Island Railroad (LIRR) to Queens Village. On the LIRR I had an engaging conversation with a young... More

Decent place to sleep for not too much money. The breakfast area in the lobby was way too small for everyone to sit down. We couldn't hear the train rumble by directly behind the hotel except when we were in the bathroom (through the pipes). More
