This place deserves an honest review. I wish more people who stayed would post. Shinglekill will not appeal to everyone, but is a great find for most travelers. The B&B was originally built in 1840 for the caretaker of the mill. That means the grounds and foundation are old. The common areas have been updated and decorated to give the... More

Just spent five days at the Shinglekill B&B and enjoyed it so much that (in light of the previous review) I felt compelled to write my own. If you are going to run a B&B, you really need to understand how it is done. The grounds were unkempt and we were greeted by a beer drinking host.
