This property is a bit off the beaten track. There appears to be a large main building with inside entrances and then an old motor court type section, in which I stayed. The outside looks a bit tawdry and in disrepair - the inside as well. My toilet suffered from the eternal flush problem and when I lifted the lid... More

The Port Lodge is a great place to stay, they have updated their furniture and carpets. the price is great for a getaway and there is a lot to do nearby parks, and fishing, a putt putt golf and go kart track across the street as well as beaches nearby over all it is a great place to stay.

I've stayed here a couple of times (always in the winter when I go to play in the snow). It's definitely not outstanding, but if you just want a cheap place to stay, it's decent. If you want a fancy place, you might be better off in Watertown or Syracuse (about 45 minutes in opposite directions). Downsides: The motel certainly... More

Since this is only the 3rd review for this property, I don't assume there are wild travelers banging down the doors to this miserable hotel/motel. I had some friends staying at the local RV park so thought we'd make a weekend of it and stay here. Over $300 for 2 nights in a 4-bed room. I guess I should have... More

Awful service. I went there with my boyfriend and his family. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights...we didn't even last one. The first room we went to had stains all over the mattresses, holes in the doors to the bathroom, and we were itchy all over. We asked to see another room. This second room made the first... More

The rooms were dirty, mildew and had fleas. We tried to get our $ back because of the terrible accommodations and we only received 1 night back out of 3. The owner was rude! They are also over priced for such a dump. We left and went to super 8 down the street. Prices good, clean, friendly and breakfast in... More
