Staff always been nice and accommodating. New lobby has a great new fresh modern look and feel. Rooms are updated, clean and comfortable. I always stay here when I am in town. There are a lot of restaurants in walking distance. Rates are very reasonable.

This is a very good place to stay in Pougkeepsie, which is generally lacking in any nice hotels. The room was clean, the bed was nice, and it was quiet. The staff was polite. There was an overall sterility and charmlessness to the place, but I don't think you can expect much in Poughkeepsie

One of your employees helped us with a transaction that allowed us to stay at your hotel last night- and spend the evening with two of your other guests- one of whom is facing breast cancer surgery this week. I tried and tried but couldn't get a room on line but stopped by just in case and the employee helped... More

We had no idea where to stay in Poughkeepsie and needed a place to crash. We were pleased that we read the previous reviews and chose the Courtyard. It was very clean, comfortable, recently updated, and reasonably priced. Room size was generous. Met all our needs.

A few co-workers and I stayed here for a week in March as we wanted to stay closer to our place of employment as we were faced with long work hours and did not want to face a long commute home or back to work the next day. We were met with great hospitality and customer service. Even when checking... More

I just recently organized a conference in the area and most of the attendees stayed at the Courtyard. Lori Trabolt and her staff were very accommodating. Lori, the GM, stayed the night of check in to make sure our attendees were taken care of. The rooms were very clean. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: - I'm giving 2 starts since they at least tried to help me out. Of course they did not solve the problem. But they showed some traces of help. Cons: - Internet did not work for my computer and their response was all the IPs are taken so I will need to wait for other customers to leave. It... More

The hotel is not that impressive when you look at it from outside (probably it's covered with ice) but once you go inside it was modern and updated. This is what always impresses me with any Marriot Hotels, high quality of standard. Any Courtyard Hotels does not have free breakfast because they have a Bistro (BTW great selections of breakfast... It's difficult to make changes to the outside of the building as often as we make updates to the inside, that is why we are so thankful that you and your family were able to come in from the cold and enjoy all we have to offer. We are excited that you had the opportunity to join us in the... More

no free breakfast or compensation offered, per Marriott elite gold status benefits. Beds were really lumpy and the sheets scratchy. No complementary water in room as in many other Marriott properties. Elevator not working and not offered help in getting to 2nd floor. Finally, the pièce de résistance, the room alarm clock was preset and woke me up 3 hours... More
