This hotel has no business being listed as pet friendly. They only have 2 rooms for dogs, and less than 5 mins after I had unpacked I got a call from the front desk that my dogs were bothering another client. I have 3 dachshunds, and I was alone with them at the moment, and when they heard noise they... more

After reading all the terrible reviews about this motel my husband and I found the place very decent. We were expecting the absolute worst . But since we wanted to be as close to Vassar college as possible we decided to book rooms at Days Inn anyways since it was the most convenient, being only a 7- 10 minutes walk to... more

The hotel is modern and well kept. The room was small, but clean and quiet. The king bed was comfortable. All amenities in the room were in working order. The pool, however, was closed for renovations. The clerk who checked us in told us that the Uno's across the street is the only place to eat near the hotel. We... more

Hotel was clean. Staff was friendly. Nice restaurants within walking distance. Close to Vassar College, where we attended a lacrosse game. Neighborhood seemed fine. Didn't use pool but looked clean and saw a family really enjoying it. more

I would not wish this motel on my worst enemy. The lowlights: mold on the walls and the heater ventst so bad that we all became ill; filthy room; unsafe electrical plugs (when I went to plug in my cell phone charger, the wall socket literally shot two inches into the wall); strange, loud ticking noise coming from the wall... more

I got in late the first night (after 11). There was a certain odor of must or something. I sprayed the room down with Lysol. The bed was so uncomfortable that it felt like was sleeping directly on the springs themselves. In the morning I found that the tub was clogged and the towels felt like I was using sandpaper... more

This hotel has been recently renovated, but it is still not a great place. It is an old property, and the odor in the room was horribly musty. I think that alot of contractors use this place to stay because it is inexpensive, but I would not recommend to families. It is also in an unattractive part of town, and... more

The room is OK, typical, clean, but it smells crappy. The electric air ionizer on the bed stand indicates the management knows the rooms stink. I dont know why they stink, the carpet etc seems clean enough, but my nose itched the entire stay. The desk person was courteous, Its not a happening neighborhood, but it didnt look bad to... more

Most reviews are right: the neighborhood is grim but that's only because Vassar is in a grim neighborhood and the only reason to stay in this motel is to visit Vassar. Other than that, it's clean, with all the usual amenities including free wifi, it's moderately friendly depending on who's staffing the reception, the area is quiet, it's a short... more
