We have stayed at the one in Fishkill, NY, but it pales in comparison to the one in Poughkeepsie because of not only location but also friendliness and service. The continental breakfast is better here and they have a pool (albeit small) right on premises. This is our prefered location when staying in Poughkeepsie area. More

Although the Days Inn is very close to my daughter's college, and convenient in that way, I recommend that you find another place to stay when visiting this area. Beautiful place, lots of snow - very scenic. that was until we reached the hotel. The room smelled funky, a sort of damp moist environment. the beds were uncomfortable, the bathroom, very basic. breakfast was a buffet (which was ok) I wouldn't visit this place again.
