Well, first I must say that I did not experience any of the problems that I read about. My room was very clean, as was the hallway and common areas. We stayed there for two nights at the end of December. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But, the walls of the room were paper thin and for two nights we slept maybe two hours. The staff was so helpful, we brought our dog which was a challenge in itself. When we would leave to go swimming with the kids and the dog would cry they told us to even bring the dog with us or they would call us if the dog became too loud. Rooms are big and clean. This is your better than average Best Western. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was adequate. Most helpful was the staff. We ended up arriving around 4am b/c our car broke down. This is not your 5-star, high-end hotel. However, the staff genuinely cares about the quality of your stay. I stayed at the Inn for 5 nights while in Plattsburgh on business. The beds smell with BO. The washcloths always have hairs on them. The clothes rack is not a pole, but some sliding hook mechanism where most of the hooks are broken leaving nowhere to hang your clothes. The laundry bag provided, can only hold 2 shirts.
