We stayed here once every summer for years but now stay at a hotel and just visit our friends here during the daytime. They do charge a lot of money for a very very simple wooden cabin without plumbing and they nickle and dime you on top of that with all sorts of extra fees. Our complaint is the chigger... More

We are full timers and have stayed at over two dozen KOA's. The staff here is very good. They have lots to do for the kids. Sites were well maintained and good sized. They offer a great tour to NYC for about $100 but worth it as to take the train, pay for the admissions, have to change subway stops... More

First off, their prices are ridiculous. They charge you a site fee, along with pet fees, resort fees, adult fees, and child fees. It is absurd how much you pay for just one night. Then on top of that, they promise you free wifi, but in fact you do not get wifi at all. Also, if you are at one... More

Needed a place to stay for the night while traveling in our Motorhome. Called ahead and asked if had a pull through site with 50 amp, we were told no problem and they gave us a price which was very expensive for a campground. We arrived and the price had gone up, they explained there was a resort fee! After... More

My wife and I, friend and relatives have all camped at this campground. We have camped in the summer and autumn months for many years. The campground hosts have always been extremely helpful and courteous. The facility has nice wooded campsites with room to maneuver my 37-ft fifth wheel. There are always many attractions and activities each weekend for the... More

I will rate this average for those wishing to stay over night and need to get off the road. It is 10 miles from I-84 and they charge you $60 a night including a $5 resort fee. This wipe out your KOA discount. The wifi was out the entire evening and they were not fully open (which makes the resort... More

The only rv parking available is at the top of a fairly steep hill. This gets you away from the hundred or so truck, workers, campers who stay there and work in the area. Not a really nice quaint place to stay because of this. If you want to take a walk, must walk up and down steep hill to your site.... More

I enjoyed our stay here. The sites are large with plenty of space between other sites. Most sites were wooded and gave you a feel of being in a park setting. Very family/pet friendly. The grounds were clean and maintained. Great gift shop! The staff were very nice. A bit pricey, but, I think that keeps away all the young... More

We stayed at the Newburgh/New York KOA in late September of 2013 since it is the only campground which was along our route. It is approximately 9 miles north of I-84 through several stop lights and busy traffic which makes it inconvenient. For a 50 amp back-in site in the Fall when many of it's amenities were unavailable we still... More

After visiting many KOS's this Summer on our US road trip from Canada, this one was by far the most superior. An excellent base also to get the train into New York ,Manhattan. All the campground facilities were excellent, especially the pools and the morning pancakes ! Staff ALL very friendly and efficient.
