The room was clean bathroom needed a little more detailed attention. I would certainly stay there again. The complimentary breakfast is not much to talk about. The hotels makes up for whatever it lacks with the views of the river from the shared balconies.

We stayed here as part of our hotels.com free night program. The hotel itself was fine and walking distance from both the train station and the town. The reason I'm giving only one star (I would've given them zero if that were possible) is that even though this was supposed to be a free night there was a $100 charge... More

As a Peekskill native living in another city, I was impressed on my visit and overnight stay over the weekend. Over the years, normally stay at the "Peekskill Motor Inn" and over time, it declined. Last weekend, I can see where management has upgraded the rooms with new carpet, flooring, paint and mattresses (comfortable bed)-at least the room we stayed... More

Like the title says, just understand where you are staying. On the positive note: 1) Very clean, you can see they pride themselves on maintaining a clean environment 2) The location is beautiful 3) The breakfast (bagels & muffins) is fine 4) The rooms are small (as pointed out in other reviews) but serviceable 5) The staff is upbeat and... The view is all you get. Pictures do not reflect the noise from the constant traffic from the highway just below and the train tracks with blowing horns every 20 minutes. I have never seen so much indifference from hospitality staff in my life. At best you get a greeting if you stand long enough at the desk waiting for... More

We stayed here for just over 2 weeks while my husband was working in NYC. Cute little motel. No frills. Beautiful foliage. Only disappointment was housekeeping cleaned our rooms each day but stopped replacing toiletries. Each evening I had to go over to get cups and bags for ice and the garbage. These should have bee replaced daily, as we... More

This is quite a nice motel with a spectacular view of the river, but it takes more than gables and white trim to make it into an inn. The view is world class-- even with the Indian Point Nuclear Reactor-- I wonder how many of the 55 rooms have an unobstructed view. The staff tells me that it is first... More

Stayed at this hotel for several nights. It is an older property that has undergone some renovations but it's still a bit rough around the edges. A thorough cleaning to get rid of years of grimy build up on window sills and baseboards would help. Don't be fooled by the huge discounted price you see on some travel sites (I... More

Check in was easy. Lobby was converted to breakfast dining room and quite average. Good, but basic complimentary breakfast. View of the Hudson Valley are exquisite. The pool has views and a gazebo; it's a nice place to relax and get some R & R. The rooms have been renovated and are VERY small. Bed was comfortable. Didn't eat in... More

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night with our dog. After reading prior reviews I was a little concerned, however I have to say once we arrived, I was presently surprised! The front desk staff were very polite upon check in and we were given a room on the second floor with a balcony with beautiful views of... More
