The hotel is an old school motel that has been updated and is clean. The rooms are small, but on property there is a nice bar and restaurant, and a very nice pool with views up the Hudson. you are a half mile from the re-emerging vibrant downtown of Peekskill and extremely convenient to the highway.

This B&B is a wonderful find in Hudson. The rooms are quite large - we stayed in the coco room, and you have the run of the house and garden. The home cooked breakfasts are fantastic - I am not a big breakfast person but the pear tart that Brenal (sp?) made from pears from the garden was exquisite. My... More

We were going to a wedding and needed a room for one night. We were given a nice clean room with a terrace overlooking the Hudson. The hotel needs updating and is showing its age. Not all of the rooms come with a terrace and a view of the Hudson, so it's important to ask.

Lovely view of the Hudson over the highway, but really a lower than Quality Inn type motel. Train passing and loud all night, bathroom from the 80s, and more troubling than the accommodations were the people hanging about outside their rooms on the parking lot level. Made it feel like a scary, drunk tailgating party more than a hotel.

Not the hotel for picky people. Nice pool, plenty of parking, pleasant staff, comfy beds, pretty view, powerful A/C. Tiny bathroom, old carpeting, worn out refrigerator. Restaurant on site is okay and continental breakfast was enough to hold us until lunch.

Stopped in for a night with my brother and my canine after some sweaty days on the Appalachian Trail. The AC was super cool, the carpets clean, the bathroom quite small but adequate. I enjoyed the feel of the restaurant/bar which seemed to have more locals than tourists inside and the view from the pool was just right. Breakfast the... More

We wanted a little hotel by the Hudson. The roads and scenery around are beautiful. You can have a nice view from the pool area or second floor balcony. Service, not very good. Tiny little breakfast area, with fair items to choose from. Room was clean, being honest. Small, with microwave, fridge, nice bad. Air conditioner was noisy as a... More

Thank you for the review. The carpets in the rooms are in the process of being changed. We are also planning to renovate the lobby soon and rejuvenate our continental breakfast. The restaurant is a leased space More

The Inn on the Hudson looks charming on the website..BUT... The rooms are small, musty and dirty. Bathroom was disgusting... see attached pictures. Grime, old ceiling cracks and old leaks, dirty carpet, spiders. Front desk staff was indifferent, except for the women that checked us in. The restaurant is off the lobby and when we went to get continental breakfast,... More

Spent 3 nights in this hotel. Had a room with a balcony, the view was great. However, the rugs were filthy. The poor bridal party on Sat had to throw towels all over the rugs to try and stay clean. The beds were ok. Trains constantly coming and going, which I am sure could bother some. Rooms and bathrooms not... More

Rooms are old, outdated and small. Carpets need scrubbed; they were filthy. Sound insulation was poor, especially in rooms that share a door. Breakfast was the usual bagels, cereal, wrapped muffins, yogurt, etc. but there was not much space to sit and eat (3 tables and maybe 8 chairs). View from balcony rooms was nice but doesn't make up for... More
