This was my 5th stay at HomePort. Every year it's my tradition to go Wine Tasting and Stay at the Home Port the Saturday before Christmas. Every year it 's just as relaxing and beautiful. This year we were hit with a 24 inch snow storm. That only made the stay even more beautiful. The house, porch, tree and surrounding... more

We had a wonderful long weekend at Home Port, thanks to Cheryl's warm, friendly hospitality & suggestions, her delicious breakfasts and charming home. The B&B is perfectly situated, close to the wineries but on a quiet street off the main road. The trees around the house provided a nice respite from the sun as we relaxed on the hammock, enjoying... more

After attending wedding events at a nearby winery, we found it delightfully relaxing at Homeport. In the Peach room, we enjoyed peace and quiet and the comforts of home, with none of the home "chores." Cheryl and Peter were attentive, informative hosts and offered truly delicious breakfasts. We'd be happy to return there. Take special notice of the yet-to-be-landmarked Weeping... more

My wife and I recently visited Long Island for our first time. We were looking for a nice place to stay while we toured wineries in the area. What we found was much more. Cheryl and Peter were better hosts than we could have asked for. During our stay, Cheryl was extremely helpful and friendly, but also gave us plenty... more

We were greeted by our host Cheryl, who is very friendly. We had the feeling we were with friends from the moment we stepped inside. The house is beautiful, and there were many ideas that we took note of to do in our own home. Cherly is an amazing cook, and her food was delicious. And, there was so much... more

We just got back from the Home Port after a lovely weekend. This was our 4th or 5th stay. We love spending the weekend in the North Fork & this is the best B&B we have stayed at. Cheryl & Peter go out of there way to make you feel at home. They make a wonderful 3 course breakfast and... more

This is a great B&B located far from any city noise. The home is a beautiful old victorian in a great location. The rooms are clean and well appointed. My wife and I have visted there before and have always enjoyed our stay. We were given the Cottage Room this time and it was great. Their rum yogurt and home... more

We stayed at Home Port for 2 nights this month. Cheryl was a wonderful hostess full of suggestions on the area (dining, exploring, etc). She recommended that we use her beach parking pass to see the sunset on our first night. What a great idea! Breakfast was spectacular (baked banana pancake was wonderful!). The B&B is walking distance to Ackerly... more

This is the perfect Bed & Breakfast in the heart of wine country. Cheryl is a wonderful hostess, and took care of every detail, ensuring we would have the perfect stay. The restaurants she pointed us to were wonderful, and the wineries were excellent. We loved the Cottage Room, it felt like we were a million miles away (and as... more
