Let's be honest, this place is practically the only place to stay in Palmyra. It's also close to the temple and the Joseph Smith Farm/Sacred Grove. This makes it an ideal place. The good: Clean, close to attractions, friendly staff, breakfast included, large rooms for families. The bad: Very uncomfortable beds, strong smell of bleach on bedding, thin walls, breakfast... Very comfortable with every amenity. The mattress was lacking a bit. Loved the kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, dishes, soap and cloths. Very clean and large. Would stay hear again in a heartbeat.

Great location within walking distance to the temple and Joseph Smith property. The hotel is clean, and well cared for. Rooms are more utilitarian (no frills). There is a fridge and microwave in each room. Very happy with our visit and with the fantastic location. Don't think there is a better place to stay near Palmyra.

This was our second stay at the Palmyra Inn and we will definitely stay here again on our next visit to LDS historic sites. The staff are friendly and offer first rate service. They went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and see we had all the information we needed about the area and sites. The rooms... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Palmyra Inn. The rooms were large which would be nice if we were with our family. We actually plan to come back with our kids. The hotel was clean and in a great location. The breakfast was OK-- could use a little more variety.

Palmyra Inn is a Fabulous Place to Stay if Visiting Palymra Historical LDS Church Sites with your family. It is well designed to accommodate the needs of families! The staff was wonderful to us. The rooms with kitchenettes and kitchens are such a plus if you are trying to do a lot of site-seeing right in Palmyra area and have... More

Palmyra Inn was a wonderful end to our longer-than expected trip. We arrived at 2am to find an attentive and gracious staff-person who checked us in quickly. The rooms were spacious, lovely, clean, and even had a kitchen. Excellent value for the cost. I had booked this room for myself and 14 other clients, all of whom were satisfied and... More

I must say the Palmyra Inn exceeded our family's expectations. The property is in a fairly isolated location, which might make you think it could be sketchy -- however, it is very well kept. It is THE place to stay for those wanting to see the local LDS sites. Adjoining the property is an LDS church, which you're able to... More

We were in town from Texas to see the Pageant and the sites. We wanted to stay close and are glad we planned ahead to stay here (a must during July). It is very nice and well maintained. The rooms are perfect for families. We got one with a King bed and 2 twins. The 2 sleeping areas are separated... More

My dad, brother and I went on a whirlwind trip of Eastern Canada and New York. While on the road we stayed at budget motels that were a little more than 1/2 star. On our last night, after a long drive from Montreal we pulled into the parking lot of the Palmyra Inn. What a breath of fresh air!!! The... More
