I booked this place for a business trip to NY and I choosed to stay outside of the city to avoid the madness of NY. When I arrived at Dolce was a magnificent surprise! It's located literally in a beautiful park and the neighborood is extremely quite. I realized it's mainly a convention center for IBM and other big companies... More

Despite a mix-up in booking through another website the receptionist was very kind in giving us a discount for an evening stay at the Dolce Palisades. The exterior of the hotel and the surrounding grounds gives one an initial impression of someplace extraordinary--ponds stocked with fish and a helipad included! The interior has a corporate but clean-lined feel to it,... More

Although I lived in this area from 2000 to 2010, I never new about it or noticed a sign for it when traveling on Route 9W. It seems to be some sort of IBM/Citi corporate training/conference center so it's not a traditional "retail" style hotel. I stumbled upon it because priceline wasn't yielding acceptable results -- very liberal reservation policy... More

Stayed here for IBM Training. Checked in to see dead bugs and a 2 inch X 3 inch bug on the floor. I was put in to another room, which had the same thing -- dead bugs on floor (do they every vacuum the carpet?) and 2 large bugs in the bathroom. Furthermore, during my 4 nights there, its clear... Overall we had a great stay, we would go back and we would recommend it to others. The breakfast buffet was very good, the grounds were tranquil and full of wildlife. We saw wild turkeys, a groundhog, Geese and goslings, and a snapping turtle. The pool is very nice, but you are not supposed to take children into the pool,... More

This hotel is attached to a conference center and sits on beautiful, forested grounds in the middle of, well, nowhere. Actually, one can get to Nyack in 15 min and NYC is about 20 from there, and it is very close to Columbia Univ.'s Lamont Doherty Earth Observatory, so it is remote but not that remote. It is great for... More

If you are looking for a place to get your team away from the day today interruptions of the office for strategic planning, training, team building, etc. I highly recommend the IBM Learning Center (ILC) managed by Dolce. Whether you need a large auditorium, classroom, conference rooms or small team rooms, they offer it all and the Conference Staff works... More

The western side of the Hudson River is an area of beautiful views, winding roads and a warren of small villages. Not many places to stay. We were bound for the Cloisters in the extreme northern part of Manhattan, and decided to try this area since the travel time was about the same as from midtown. The Dolce IBM Palisades... More
