Stayed at this hotel with four members of my family for eight days. The hotel is located in a residential area, which was quiet at night. Just across the road there is an italian restaurant which serves tasty food and wine. There is also a grocery and deli which opens 24/7. One block away there's a pizzeria with a wide... More

An expensive place to stay in a not so great neighborhood far away from JFK airport. Unlike other JFK area hotels along the AirTrain, I had to wait nearly 20 minutes for the shuttle to arrive at Federal Circle Station and after a seemingly long ride in the hotel shuttle, like the Jamaica Station area hotels, I still wound up... My entire family stayed over night because we came in from all over for my grandfathers funeral. The rooms were renovated with granite bathroom countertops and newer beds. The room was clean and in good shape. The hotel has a basic hot breakfast with sausages, egg patties, cereal, yogurt and waffles. The beds were comfortable and the gentlemen at the... More

The hotel was average. The breakfast was ok. Pre-made egg circles and sausage and waffles were the "hot", cereal, fruit (mainly oranges) and bagels were the "cold". A tour bus of kids decimated the breakfast area for a few mornings. Occupying the breakfast tables and leaving them a mess. When other guests came down there was no effort to replenish... More

This hotel provided a "twin" room arrangement with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths which met our needs. During our morning after our one night stay the hotel staff had an Easter Egg hunt for employees and customers. A really fun treat to raise money for a charity. Would recommend this hotel as a really good place to stay.

Many people would choose this hotel out of desperation because a flight was cancelled at JFK. Other reviewers were correct about the shuttle call list at Federal Circle Air Train hopelessly out of date. The directions to pickup area are absent, in dark it is very confusing. I was told "10 minutes" and 20 minutes later the shuttle collected me.... More

This hotel worked out fine for me and two children for a one night stay. Regarding the Airport Shuttle, on arrival at JFK I was told by an airport worker in Federal Circle that they you need to call the hotel to come pick you up, and they are not on the Courtesy Phone list (there are only two hotels... If you only want to stay here for one night it's allright. Nothing special, just a hotel. The room is really clean and big. Everything looks a little bit old. But as long as it's clean, no worries at all! The only bad thing was the driver to the airport in the morining. He was really unfriendly and grampy. Still... More

I just needed somewhere to stay for one night near JFK (which, I assume, is the plight of anyone booking here) and this hotel was passable enough. It had small but decently priced for the area rooms and a surprisingly great continental breakfast. The shuttle service sucked, though. I had to wait for over an hour in Federal Circle, despite...
