Our family travels a lot for both business and pleasure. This is one of the most run down hotels we have stayed in. My husband stays in this particular one for business a lot but will now stay at the Hampton inn. They just don't seem to care about their hotel. The hot tub was broken. The pool area was... More

Room was nice and clean. But verry noise y did not sleep much. And the mirror on the car was broken in the morning. There were college kids raising hell in the parking lot all night long. .. the rooms were very nice and the people were very helpful

Dear Summit, Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience you encountered on your recent stay. Though it may be typical in college towns, we continuously work together with the colleges and city to encourage good behavior all around. More often as you may know, it only takes one bad apple to spoil the rest. we are addressing these matters in... More

Cost runs high for location, but there are not many options in town. Gets very noisy being downtown in a college town. It also has smoking floors, which is very weird in this day. The scent does seem to permeate the rest of the hotel. Rooms are pretty rundown - but not dirty per se. The pool is gross and... More

We called ahead and were quoted a price of $159. When we got there, the manager slipped us a piece of paper with a price on it and asked if that were okay. I said that I was quoted a lesser price on the telephone, and she gave us the room for $149.00. Although friendly and helpful, she talked on... More

Room was fine and beds comfortable. No free breakfast because there is a restaurant on premises with a breakfast buffet. They had good coffee in the lobby. Soda machines were out of water, so they gave me two bottles for $1.00 each. Only complaints were a musty smelling elevator and the only breakfast choice was the buffet. Way too much... More

I had read all the negative reviews and was nervous to stay here but glad I did. Honestly, Oneonta is a small town and there are no 5 star resorts.... This hotel is the best location to the quant town. It is dated but the staff was wonderful and friendly . It was clean. The bar was hopping and it... More

This hotel is in the downtown with Main Street access. We checked in and was given a room on the 3rd floor. The elevator smelled of smoke and the 3rd floor hallway reaked of smoke plus freshener. When we entered our room the bed looked slept in and smelled horrible. The sheets also clearly didn't fit the bed properly. We... More

This hotel is about 10 years old and it feels dated. Everything was clean, but black in corners of shower, carpets extremely worn, near freight tracks and trains started before 6:00 am and were loud. Front desk at check-in and check-out was disinterested - both individuals were very matter of fact, no eye contact, no smile, didn't engage with me... More

Some of the reviews I saw concerned me but I wanted to stay right in town so I booked this hotel. I really had no issues with the cleanliness of the place or the amenities. Because of the concern with noise from the Main Street side of the hotel I asked to be in a room that overlooked the parking... More

After spending the day traveling to Cooperstown and touring the Baseball Hall of Fame we were looking to getting to the hotel to rest. Driving up to the hotel we were quite impressed. It looked like a really nice hotel. Our room itself was nice and the hotel had an exit to main street. That's where the nice part of... More
