If you are travelling Rte 88 and need a place to stay over night in Oneonta this is the place. Our room was spacious with a small eating area, frig, microwave, coffee maker and even a little outdoor deck! Looks like it was recently remodeled. There is an on-site bar and small pub style restaurant which was a pleasant surprise.... More

The Rainbow Inn is my first choice when I travel to Oneonta, NY for business. My family enjoys staying there with me as well. The property is a family-owned motel that is well-maintained and has beautiful grounds/flowers in season. There is the convenience of an easy on and off Highway 80 and an onsite restaurant/bar "My Father's Place". Additionally, about... More

We stayed one night while on a road trip to the northeast. Reasonably priced for a holiday weekend. I normally don't like to stay in motels with outside access. I didn't like the fact that they still use the old metal key rather than a magnetic swipe card. But what bothered me most was the fact that there was NO... More

My girlfriend and I use this wonderful Inn as our overnight getaway, rooms are always fresh and clean and everything is well maintained. Quiet area also. Staff is also prompt and courteous. Highly recommended.

Coming from a Family that would not typically stay in a Motel type lodging, I must admit I was worried about our stay while attending All Star Village. With all the chain hotels charging 5-10x more than their counterparts throughout the country, The Rainbow Inn provided us with our only real alternative in the area. Upon arrival, our fears were... We have generally stayed in known chain hotels; but since the rates in this area were extraordinarily high we looked for a reasonably priced place to stay. Not only was The Rainbow Inn reasonably priced, it was a real find. It was a very well maintained motel which shows great care and modernization that meets any of the chain hotels--flat... More

This is a clean, friendly place to stay just up the road from the town center of Oneonta. It is the 2nd time I have stayed there. Maria & her husband make you feel comfortable. My son & I stayed there in Aug. 2014 & we were in a newly renovated room with a refrigerator & microwave. The outdoor pool... More

My husband and I were on are 30th Wedding Anniversary trip and came upon this diamond in the rough hotel. Staff was great and the king size bed and suite was unbelievable. We had a two person Jacuzzi tub and a sauna in the room. We stumbled upon the Farmhouse Inn for our anniversary dinner. EXCELLANT food and staff

In the summer, the Oneonta area gets quite pricy. Stayed here based on price and it was a good value (compared to the other overpriced chain hotels). Rooms are ok - plus is that there is a mini fridge (where the freezer actually works!) and a microwave and room size is ample. Free wifi is a plus. Furnishings and walls... More

Rooms are disgusting. One window in the room and it is the size of a postage stamp. Stay away. If coming to visit for baseball tournaments. Do not stay here. The poor beds, nasty bathroom, and unhelpful staff is not worth the few saved dollars.
