Rooms are disgusting. One window in the room and it is the size of a postage stamp. Stay away. If coming to visit for baseball tournaments. Do not stay here. The poor beds, nasty bathroom, and unhelpful staff is not worth the few saved dollars.

I have been very satisfied each time I've stayed at the Rainbow Inn. I am a female traveling to Oneonta for work and have always felt welcomed and safe at the Rainbow Inn. The rooms are updated, very clean, and larger than most hotel rooms. The beds are comfortable. I can count on getting a good night's sleep. The hotel... More

Such a cute hotel close to Oneonta and less expensive than most. They are super nice and the room was clean and cozy. My only problem was that the water didn't get very hot, but I am sure that can be fixed. I stopped in the little restaurant/bar later after dinner and the bartender is so friendly and knows his... We stayed here one of the first weekends they were open in early June. From what I understand, they are closed for the winter. This place is clean, convenient and pleasant. It is a much better price than any other hotel in the area that we could find. I loved the shower. It doesn't look like a fancy shower, but... More

In April, we brought our son up to SUNY Oneonta for a campus visit. We were originally booked at the Holiday Inn with some friends. The day of the trip, I called the H.I. to confirm my reservation and learned that their front desk had mistakenly booked me for the following weekend and was unable to accommodate my reservation. The... More

We tried to get a room at all the chain hotels, but everyone was full. On the last try, one of the clerks (I won't name in case it was a no-no) told us to try the Rainbow Inn up the road a couple miles. She did us a great favor. The room was clean, comfortable and the price was... More

Small, well run facility with a responsive, responsible owner. Right off Rt 88 and convenient to Cooperstown. First hotel we've stay at which had Greek yogurt on its continental breakfast. Located across the road from Farm House restaurant.

I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness and cleanliness of my room. The restaurant and lounge are very inviting, the staff is friendly and courteous! I was very fortunate to find this Inn and actually was looking to stay in the City of Oneonta but my good fortune found all the rooms taken for college graduation. I would highly recommend... More

My wife Gloria and I stayed at the Rainbow Inn in the Fall of 2012 after going to a roller derby bout with the Derailing Darlings. (I might add that the owners support the local roller derby.) The motel is convenient to the Oneonta area. Its quietand has a wonderful restaurant...not a whole lot else to say except that we... More
