My experience as Mother of the Bride was totally enhanced by the care and attention the staff took towards making sure we had the perfect place for the wedding. The resort's eclectic design style and dramatic natural landscape allowed the Bride and Groom to have a three exciting days that are truely ones to remember. The food and special decor... more

The Full Moon Resort grounds are picturesque, the included food was appetizing, and the wedding we attended was simply lovely. The rooms are rustic, which is de rigueur for the Catskills. The shared bathrooms were reminiscent of a college dorm-- approach them with a sense of humor! Or book a private bath for a higher rate. I initially felt the... more

I felt right at home at Full Moon. I spent a wonderful weekend retreat with a large group of friends. Since we spent most of our time exercising outdoors, I appreciated the delicious food and fresh produce, the locally baked bread and the fireplace at our Moonlight cottage. The staff and owners were friendly and always helpful. Everything was just... more

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding at Full Moon this summer. I was so taken with the great karma , earthy comfort, excellent service, and beautiful grounds that I thought it would also be the perfect place for a Martial Arts retreat. Having now had both experiences there, I am pleased to confirm my good feelings about Full... more

I was part of a Martial Art intense Training weekend at Full Moon. When we arrived everything from the smallest details on up were already taken care of. We actually felt it was our own house. The training took us all over the resort, the ground's were in perfect shape. Running and working out, that concern was very important. After... more

I recently stayed with a group of friends for a Spring Training Retreat. We occupied all of the rooms in the Moonlight, Mountainview and Evergreen Lodges. Since we were a large group that knew each other well the close proximity of the lodges were ideal as well as the "main house gathering place" that the Moonlight Lodge provided with its... more

This was our first time at Full Moon Resort. We had an incredible time. The food was excellent, the rooms were charming, the staff was very attentive and helpful. We will definitely be returning next year for our annual gathering. The owner was especially catering to our needs. It was a overall great place to spend a long weekend up... more

My fiance and I were searching for a spot in upstate NY to host a quiet, rustic weekend wedding and were lucky enough to find the Full Moon. The quiet wedding soon turned into a 200 person party and the owner, Henry, never missed a beat. The food, location, and setting were all perfect. The staff was accommodating and no... more

My husband and I got married at the Full Moon Resort in November of 2008. We were looking for a destination wedding in the Catskill Mountains. An all-inclusive place where all our friends and family could stay and celebrate the whole weekend without having to worry about driving or finding a place to eat. We found our dream location at... more

It seemed like the perfect place minus the very shabby rooms that are way overpriced. Lets just say what they make it seem to be is affordable and unique, accomodating , etc. Every little thing for the wedding was extra, if you don't want your guests to drink out of plastic cups its an extra $5 per glass, plates, upgrades... more
