My fiance and I booked a 4 day get away at the Adirondack Lodge in March 2015. I spent quite a bit of time researching lodging and this place hands down had the most affordable rate around. Generally, the lodging rates in Old Forge are jacked up pretty high during snowmobiling season so this was a steal at about $78/night.... More

This is a great place to stay in Old Forge. It's located right on the snowmobile trail and there's gas right down the street. Staff is "SUPER" nice and accommodating. Nice indoor pool and sauna for relaxing after a day on the trails. The rooms aren't perfect and its not the Hyatt but its a very nice place to stay,... More

We've typically stayed at another motel in Old Forge that takes dogs, but were pleasantly surprised in all ways by Adirondack Lodge Old Forge: price, amenities, cleanliness and most friendly and accommodating office.

The rooms need soundproofing. Was awake with noisy young ladies next door. When I tried to call the desk at 2:00 a.m. - got no answer. Finally, I called the room next door and asked the young ladies to tone it down - we needed sleep, they were cooperative and we got to sleep about 3:00 a.m. The view of... More

Nice pool area- large and warm. Great location- center of town across the street from the lake. Large lobby- good yo gather with adequate seating. Any reader of Old Forge hotel reviews must keep in mind the type of lodging and decor that is available in the area. This hotel is typical for the accommodations in this area. Your frame... More

We stayed in March when only a few places were open; it was our first time staying here. The rooms are in need of some TLC. Carpets worn and dirty. Wall heaters not covered. Outdated TV's, old mattresses and chipped tiles in the bathroom. Woman at the front desk was really nice and very accommodating. The place is for sale... More

we reserved our room ahead of time, considering the events in the area, this was the way to go. Check in was a breeze. The ladies at the desk are friendly, informative and very friendly. The room was very clean and neat, the king sized bed was comfortable beyond our expectations, the continental breakfast is a plus, and they even... More

I just got back from a weekend at the marina motel and I have to say it was "a home away from home". The room was spotless and smelled amazing. The owners are friendly and offer a wonderful continental breakfast in their game room, where they also relax and chit chat with their guests. I have to say, for a... More

The selection of hotels is not the best in Old Forge; they all are pretty much need some TLC. We did have a nice stay, the women who worked there were helpful, the room was clean, nice indoor pool, & the added breakfast was a good way to start the day.

Personally I wouldn't stay again though I think the property was pretty average for the area. The property is obviously very old - with a deep musty smell. The carpeting felt very old-dirty with years worth of wear and smell. One bed sagged so much in the center it looked like a hammock. I normally like coming back to my... More
