My son and I took our 1st snowmobiling trip to Old Forge NY. We stayed at Christy's and was extremely pleased. Home town Mom & Pop atmosphere at it's best, friendly and informative. Oh, the room was a bit too hot, needed to drop it down a few degrees (good problem to have).

Our party had a very satisfactory experience at Christy's. The rooms well clean and in very good condition, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We didn't pay for a lot of amenities we don't need or want, just a decent place to stay for a very reasonable price.

If your looking for the motel with lots of welcoming people and not a lot of frills, this is the place. Front desk people are extremely helpful. Place is clean but looks and feels kind of old. My biggest complaint is no dead bolt locks on the door. I'd stay here again.
