By coincidence we found out about The Orendaga and were attracted by the environmental friendly concept described on their website. We stayed at the Blue Heron cabin and were very happy with our choice to stay here for our weekend in the Adirondacks. Very nicely decorated cabin with a lot of wonderful and thoughtful details, telling you about the owner's... More

The setting on the lake is really lovely. The cabin was very comfortable and spacious. The front porch had nice seating and a pretty view. There were chairs scattered on the lawn closer to the water that were also nice. We weren't there when it was warm enough to swim altho there is easy access to the water.

We stayed in the Blue Bird cabin. It has its own fully renovate and very modern kitchen, which was wonderful for our week's stay. The cabin was very chic in decor and very private and absolutely comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful with suggestions for various things around the adorable town. They have a cool art studio where you can... More

We stayed at The Orendaga cabin the second week in SEPTEMBER. Very peaceful! The cabin is quaint and gorgeous. Loved the small town and colors of the Fall leaves. Private beach. Free usage of canoes and kayaks. We are yearly visitors and will return more often. We had a great time at The Broad Albin Craft fair and ate Lanzis on... More

We stayed here for two nights for my birthday. The rooms were beautiful and the cabin was tastefully decorated. They provide organic coffee and handmade soaps. We were rigtht on the water and there were boats to use. Warning: you have to walk through lots of muck before swimming. The price was the biggest negative. We chose the Orendaga cabin... More

We stayed in suite 1. Rooms new and nice. By a nice lake with free kayaks and row boat. Nice people. A little noisy. On one hand I could appreciate the cicadas to the right but heard all the traffic to the left, as room 1 is near the road. And there is an art studio and people park by... More

Our family of five stayed in the Bluebird Cabin, and it was perfect for us, with two bedrooms downstairs and a loft bedroom with twin beds up a spiral staircase. The cabin was spacious, clean and comfortable with a nice of view of the well-maintained grounds. It's just a steps from the small waterfront, and we enjoyed using the kayaks... More

We stayed in unit 1 - the Blue Heron suite. Very nicely done room. Carpentry skills by the owners were outstanding. Nice comfortable room with a separate kitchen and a nice location. The only downside was a bathroom sink that was very narrow - I'm a big guy and I couldn't fit between the two walls when I stood at... More

Such a great weekend retreat! The Orendaga is little less than four hours from home, but it was like another world. Between the mountains, the trees, and the lake, if you need to exhale, this is where you should be. The Orendaga cabin on the lakefront was perfectly appointed - so tidy and clean, with space heaters and an electric... More

In September, My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at The Orendaga on Northville Lake. It was so peaceful, relaxing, and magical. We canoed on the Lake and was greeted every morning by welcoming ducks. We walked over the bridge into town and had homemade pastries at a small town bakery,We took long romantic walks and enjoyed the... More
