Wonderful, clean, well maintained cabins in the Adirondacks. We loved our long weekend visit to Lapland Lake. We enjoyed our time at the beach with all its amenities (boats, life jackets, Adirondack chairs, beach toys...). It was a great place to take a family vacation!

Lapland Lake is a family paradise. Along with my two sisters and their families, we have been coming here for the last 4 years, and have made reservations for another. We bring our bikes and ride to the lake, the kids enjoy the playset and games, and everyone enjoys gathering around fires in the fire pits in the evenings, roasting... More

Lapland Lake is our favorite getaway whether it's summer or winter. We come for the peace and quiet and love our favorite cozy tupa, Pohjan, which recently was remodeled with hardwood floors, a nice complement to the warm wood paneling. Woods Lake is all we need to keep ourselves busy, paddling around in a canoe, visiting the beaver lodges and... More

Our family loved the week at Lapland Lake. The cabins were well kept and comfortable, the staff was friendly and helpful, and we found far more to do in the area than we could manage in one week. Enjoying the beautiful lake and woods on site was our first pleasure, and it was easy to manage with kids.

Our family spent a week at this beautiful and peaceful resort in June 2014. This was our seventh visit and, as always, well worth the drive up from NYC. It is clean, safe, has a beach and lots of boats. In other words, perfect for young children and their parents. The absence of cell phone coverage is an added plus.

We stayed for 7 days in Pulkka cottage. I enjoyed having one of the 2 cabins with a queen sized bed. The bathroom was newly renovated & spacious. The bedrooms are a bit small as you might expect in a cottage but completely satisfactory: nightstands, dressers, curtains & comfortable beds. The kitchen is stocked well with all the basic necessities... More

This is really two reviews in one. Back in March I stayed at Lapland with a friend of mine for an extended weekend of cross-country skiing. It was our first time at Lapland Lake in winter and we were not disappointed. In fact, we felt like we had landed on a maple syrup bottle. As we’d ski by the little... More

The beautiful trails at Lapland are always perfectly groomed and the snow reports are accurate and honest. Accommodations are basic yet comfortable and immaculate and kitchens are fully equipped. The wood stoves provide a nice touch and wood is delivered to your tupa. The staff at Lapland is always top notch and everyone is friendly and helpful. The sauna, which is... More
