We spent two nights camping at Cedarwoods--a wonderful experience! Convenience and comfort of being able to drive close to your campsite but beauty and peace that can't be had at a public campground. Louis made us feel right at home, has a firepit, grill, lovely bathhouse with flush toilet and running water. The last morning we treated ourselves to one... More

This was a family trip of four adults, two of which didn't speak English. We truly enjoyed the hospitality and comfort. Louis was a charming host, who every morning surprised us with even more elaborate breakfasts. The setting is wonderful away from the road and very convenient for white-water rafting in the Hudson Gorge and hikes in Adirondacks.

My husband and I spent a wonderful impromptu weekend at Cedarwood B&B in the Adirondacks and had an AMAZING time!! Sharalee was so warm and welcoming. She had great recommendations for activities and restaurants and it felt like she truly cared about how her guests enjoyed their stay. We stayed in the Poets room and it was decorated in such... From all the raves about the food and accommodations at the Cedarwood, we fully expected the excellent bedrooms and fine food that made our visit in August 2013 so pleasant. What surprised us, however, was the delightful sculpture garden in the field behind the house. The artist who put this together presents an upside down tree, a piano frame, old... More

We had a wonderful time staying at Cedarwood B&B this past weekend. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful, the rooms are sweet and clean and lovely. The breakfasts (super delicious gourmet eggs, fruit, breads, and coffee) were amazing, as were the mid-afternoon snacks of home-made brownies, cakes, fruit, and organic iced-tea. The outdoor shower was perfect, with a view of... More

We loved staying at Cedarwood Bed and Breakfast! The hostess is so artistic and there are many unusual and beautiful antiques and artifacts to look at and read! I loved the hardwood floor that Sheralee stenciled, making her own stencil based on wallpaper found in the lovely home, built in 1870. It was so nice to arrive after a day... More

All-around delightful, from the moment we opened the door and felt the roaring fire in the fireplace. Innkeepers Sharalee and Louis are friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Breakfasts were tasty and very appropriate for pre-cross country skiing (i.e., not an overload of carbs but instead eggs, veggies, even a quinoa cake). Afternoon tea with fruit and cakes -- super... We stayed for a three day trip during what had to be the coldest part of the winter (-20 F overnight). The food and hospitality offered was excellent. Breakfast kept you satisfied through a long day of cross country skiing and snowboarding before returning to the bed and breakfast for afternoon tea which warmed you up from inside out. Sharalee... My husband and I stayed at the Cedarwood for our honeymoon. We had high hopes for a wonderful trip and all our expectation were met. We stayed for nearly a full week and are looking forward to a return trip. Every aspect of the experience from the food to the room to the local scene, was all we had hoped... More

I recently stayed at Cedarwood B&B, and, after my experience, would most definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay at an incredible Bed and Breakfast! I had such a wonderful Adirondack experience, and had I stayed anywhere else, I believe it would have been very different. The Bed and Breakfast itself is a beautiful, unique, inviting place to stay,... More
