Awesome location, with just a short 7 or so min walk into Fira centre. Friendly and hospitable service from all staff. Free shuttle service from airport. Free Wifi Breakfast included and a great selection. Poolside service, I liked to order my daily Frappe and charged it to the room! Room was huge and clean. Bathroom pretty basic, but clean. Highly... Helpful and friendly staff. Clean room & bathroom. Breakfast - good spread. Free shuttle service from port. Improvements: Tiny shower. Very low water pressure, hot water is warm. A bit of a walk from centre of Fira town - especially if you have been walking the whole day, but I suppose it is less noisy since it is situated a... More

We stayed in room 118 for 4 nights- lovely quiet private balcony & sea view. The room was well equipped with aircon, TV and a fridge, v modern. The bathroom was more basic but sufficient and the room was cleaned everyday. Breakfast had a good selection of food to please most palates and the staff serving were very friendly, always... More

After being upgraded to this hotel by travel republic, as the other hotel was fully booked, We thought GREAT, It wasn't . After confirming directly with hotel, About being picked up from the airport, I thought this would be a great stay until they didn't pick us up, and therefore we had to get a taxi to the hotel, On... The friendly atmosphere hits you as soon as you are greeted at the reception desk. If you are looking for a chilled out holiday with beautiful surroundings and a hotel to match, this is the place. The owners are always around but not overly fussing. They just let you get on with what you want to do, but are there... More

Maybe I don't get the whole boutique thing but for me it was just a tad expensive without the added value. We shared a family room, which already showed the first problem. The first room only has one window going into a courtyard you share with your neighbors. So basically no natural light. Also the bathroom was a bit small... More

First and foremost, the staff at the Philippion provide amazing hospitality. Yanis, Vasilie and Olse always attending to your needs and providing you with outstanding service. The rooms are clean, crisp and as pictured. The beds are firm and uncomfortable to sleep on, especially if you are familiar with something much softer. You will find that the mini-bar does not... when we arrived at the hotel for our checkin after a tiring night flight from athens, we were informed by the receptionist that there were no rooms available although our booked had been confirmed with the hotel manager. the hotel staff then tried at 10pm to find us a replacement. Finally an alternative was found in another hotel who informed... More

We booked the Philippion for a nine night stay on Santorini. From the moment we arrived we were thrilled with our choice. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly - offering tips on sights to see, recommendations for transport and ordering taxis for us when we needed them. The hotel is a 10 minute walk in to Fira itself, past... More
