Astir Thira is a very functional, basic hotel that is close to the center of Fira. It is also very close to the bus station and main taxi stand in town making travel to beaches, Oia and other destinations very easy. more

Although the hotel is quaint (only 13 rooms I believe), it is on the main highway going into Fira, so the traffic noise is a factor. Great hotel! Very close to the centre, and 2 blocks from bus and taxi depot. Has a great swimming pool with lounge chairs, so if you don't want to head to the beach, you can hang out there for a bit.
