We recently spent 5 nights at the Asteras Villas. We stayed in Apartment 1 which was at the top of the cliff. 1 Queen bedroom and 2 single beds in lounge/kitchen area. Villa was clean, comfortable, but simple. It had everything you need. And the bathroom was very clean and modern. Enough kitchen facilities - you are not here to... more

Stayed there with my wife for a week, its one of best possible locations in Santorini. Spectacular views, comfortable rooms, very very central (its about 20 meters below of where everyone goes to take a picture of the Caldera). Sotiris the Manager is an excellent proffessional and very helpful as a person. more

We stayed there two days ago. Booked the room through Booking.com Paid €150 which seemed reasonable for a Caldera View Room. We should have paid a bit more and stayed in a more comfortable place easily reached with a taxi. We took the local bus from the port. Then walked to Asteras Villas. Had no difficulty finding it as all... more

My recent trip to Santorini was perfect, and this perfection was largely due to Asteras Villas. Many people mentioned the hostess Diana below, she was not there during our stay, but a gentleman, Sortiris, was managing instead. Sortiris was a wealth of knowledge and provided some of the best recommendations I've had at hotels (I've been burned by concierge recommendations... more

We did not have reservations at Asteras Villas when we arrived on Santorini. When we got to our reserved room at another hotel I was in tears. The room was terrible and the location was worse (i won't mention that hotel by name). We left with our suitcases and walked the brick road hoping to find a hotel room appropriate... more

When we arrived in the area of Asteras Villas, we could not find the entrance. After we found the entrance, Lea, who was in the office, said that if we had called her when we arrived, she would have sent a car to pick us up. Why weren't we told this when we booked? She helped us to our unit,#5,... more

We loved our stay at the Asteras Villas. Diana, the hostess, was most charming and helpful in arranging activities and transportion during our stay. She also gave us a complimentary upgrade to the lovely suite at #3 with its marble floors, three large rooms and a great view from the huge balcony. The hotel is built into the side of... more

My family of four just got back from a 3 night stay at this small hotel villa in Thira, Santorini. It has a superb location, was exceptionally clean and quiet, yet very centrally located. The villa we stayed in (room # 3) was huge, with plenty of space for kids. While the efficiency kitchen was very small, we ended up... more

We just get back from our holidays in Asteras Villas and I can tell, that this hotel is the pearl of the Caldera Cliff. The hotel has the best location on the Cliff and the city of Fira. Everything was on walking distant – restaurants, shops, coffees …, we just had to get out of the hotel door. The rooms... more

We booked a suite at the Asteras Villas after reading its good reviews on this website, but our experience was completely different. We booked the grande suite on-line, which advertises as "up to four people." We had four in our party. Via e-mail, Diana said she would arrange for us to be picked up and that the reception desk would... more
