Staff at front desk are wonderful! Room was a gorgeous traditional cave suite which was pretty cool in the heat of August. Terrace to view sunset is amazing with a free bottle of wine left in your fridge. Breakfast consists of the best croissant I've ever had, fresh and warm with amaZing views. If you go to Santorini, you have... More

We stayed 3 days at Hotel Kavalari and enjoyed every bit of it! Very centrally located in Fira town, close to the bus station and all the shopping! The rooms were nice and cozy, loved the bathroom in our room which turned out to be like a cave! We were lucky to get a room just one level down so... More

My daughter and I spent an amazing night at this hotel. We stayed in Room number 14 which had it's own small but private deck. The room was small and cozy but turned out to be my daughter's favorite place we stayed during our trip. The steps are numerous as mentioned in other reviews but thankfully we were helped at... More

Everything about our stay was wonderful - our room was almost a "cave" suite, which was a great surprise to us! The view on our private patio was also incredible, and if we decide to stay here next time we visit, we would definitely have dinner and watch the sunset here instead, as the restaurants and streets can get quite... Though my room itself was as tucked into a corner as you could be at this hotel, it hardly mattered as every "level" of the hotel was open with tables and STUNNING views. Though I considered the room pricey, for the standards of Santorini it was relatively affordable. The location is easy for arriving/leaving, great for caldera views, and located... More

our room had a beautiful view of the caldera and we could see what cruise ships were in town. Understand this hotel is built on the side of the mountain. we had to walk down three flights of stairs outside to get to our breakfast table. good breakfast plenty of fresh fruit and bread. Bathroom had a huge shower but... More

we stayed 2 nights here on our holiday. this hotel I set on the caldera edge and is terraced, so there are a lot of steps to negotiate. this is not an hotel for the elderly, or those who are infirm, however, yannis will carry your cases to your beauitiful room. our room had a massive cave type walk in... The position of Fira town along the cliff edge of the caldera (Santorini) means that the hotels, restaurants and bars with the best views are terraced, with dozens of steps on many levels – not ideal for the elderly, or those with gammy knees. This was the case with the Kavalari Hotel, pre-booked for us by Fantasy Travel (Athens). Our... More
