I spent my 29th birthday at kavalari with my partner. We stayed in one of the cave rooms on the lower terrace and boy were we impressed. Breathtaking views from the terrace, a spa pool right out our door, a huge, spacious and uniquely styled cave room with a huge bathroom and shower. Breakfast at this place is to die... More

We stayed in Room 25 - lower level cave room which was very spacious, but had no views. The view from the adjacent terrace (shared by a total of 3 rooms) was stunning. We received a small bottle of white wine as honeymooners and enjoyed it on one of the terraces during the sunset which was very memorable. The room... More

An affordable hotel in a prime location with views to die for over the Aegean Sea..the service was fantastic, breakfast on the terrace was a great way to start the day. Our cave apartment room was very spacious and somewhat unique for a hotel room and provided a very characteristic experience, the only drawback was the bathroom which needs renovating.... More

Stayed at Hotel Kavalari for 3 nights and fell in love with this place! We stayed in room 30, which is the floor below the lobby. The breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit, yogurt, pastries orange juice and coffee every morning. That was our favorite meal of the entire trip! The room was adorable, perfect amount of space and very cozy.... More

Staff at front desk are wonderful! Room was a gorgeous traditional cave suite which was pretty cool in the heat of August. Terrace to view sunset is amazing with a free bottle of wine left in your fridge. Breakfast consists of the best croissant I've ever had, fresh and warm with amaZing views. If you go to Santorini, you have... More

We stayed 3 days at Hotel Kavalari and enjoyed every bit of it! Very centrally located in Fira town, close to the bus station and all the shopping! The rooms were nice and cozy, loved the bathroom in our room which turned out to be like a cave! We were lucky to get a room just one level down so... More

My daughter and I spent an amazing night at this hotel. We stayed in Room number 14 which had it's own small but private deck. The room was small and cozy but turned out to be my daughter's favorite place we stayed during our trip. The steps are numerous as mentioned in other reviews but thankfully we were helped at... More

Everything about our stay was wonderful - our room was almost a "cave" suite, which was a great surprise to us! The view on our private patio was also incredible, and if we decide to stay here next time we visit, we would definitely have dinner and watch the sunset here instead, as the restaurants and streets can get quite... Though my room itself was as tucked into a corner as you could be at this hotel, it hardly mattered as every "level" of the hotel was open with tables and STUNNING views. Though I considered the room pricey, for the standards of Santorini it was relatively affordable. The location is easy for arriving/leaving, great for caldera views, and located... More

our room had a beautiful view of the caldera and we could see what cruise ships were in town. Understand this hotel is built on the side of the mountain. we had to walk down three flights of stairs outside to get to our breakfast table. good breakfast plenty of fresh fruit and bread. Bathroom had a huge shower but... More
