My husband and I spent 5 nights here during the summer of 2013 and we can't wait to go back! You are able to browse their site and request the room that you would like to stay in. We stayed in skiron B. Although the interior had no views, we had a terrace that offered amazing views of the volcano.... More

The hotel is located at the edge of the busy town of Fira giving the benefit of a quiet location with quick and easy access to the town. Very friendly staff, lovely hotel and fabulous views from the balcony. Historic and characterful building. The hotel's best kept secret is the amazing food. Although the menu looks a little expensive, the... More

We wanted to have our wedding in Santorini, and we wantet it to be intimete and authentic. We were a group of 18 for the special event, family and friends, and Vivi Tsota put together our day to perfection. This is a small boutique hotel that resembles the classic greek origin, with tons of charm. The food and wines were... More

The staff at this hotel are brilliant and they go the extra distance. After checking out and going to the airport, we had a problem with our tickets and missed our flight to Athens where we had a connecting flight to London. We felt a little stranded so called the hotel. Before you knew it they had a driver whisking... More

We booked this hotel based on trip advisor reviews. It was a big disappointment. It would be charming if it were not so expensive, but it is not worth paying the rate for getting a toilet that does not fit an adult human. Given the uncomfortable bathrooms and beds, lack of view in many of the rooms, and not a real... More

Hotel was exceptional and the service was top notch. Food was excellent. After an International Convention In Athens we wanted to experience Santorini and we were pleased with the comfort and location and history of this establishment. The staff made us feel very welcomed.

The hotel is simply perfect, its authenticity is charming. We fell in love with it, and the view from our room is breathtaking. Our day's highlight was enjoying the delicious lovingly prepared breakfast on that amazing balcony. The most important aspect of Aigialos was its staff, they are all amazingggg, we immediately felt like a family, very helpful, resourceful, and... More

My wife and I booked two nights in Fira on our anniversary trip to Mykonos at the suggestion of friends and family who had been there. I found the Aigialos Hotel through tripadvisor and am truly glad I did. Simply one of the great travel experiences of our life thanks to the location, atmosphere, food and exceptional staff. Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Aigialos Collection consists of sixteen, renovated neoclassical houses that were originally the fine homes of the island's noble captain families. The architecture and design of the houses bring to life the traditional way of life of the island's nobility. Restored to perfection by master masons using local volcanic stone and coloured lime plaster, the houses are linked by cobbled walkways. Situated on the rim of the caldera, sheer cliffs that rise from the sea, the hotel overlooks the island's famed volcano. ... more   less
