Of the 12 hotels we stayed in whilst traveling through Greece this had to be the worst! The noise level, as it is on the main road out of town was a 24/7 thing. Garbage dumpsters being emptied at 4am, noisy guests late at night (try after midnight) not being asked to keep noise down. Breakfast was a laugh stale... more

Lovely clean rooms with small but adequate shower. Balcony overlooking the garden. Great swimming pool with good music. Hotel staff generally very pleasant. Very close to the bus station and to walk into the Fira Village. 5 minutes. Catch buses to the beaches in Perissa and Kamari. Beautiful views from Thira of the caldera and the sunset. Lovely shopping. more

This hotel has one of the worst rooms I've ever seen. Reminds me of a place you would go with some secret lover for a dirty weekend with nothing else in mind. The rooms have a strange concept of decor and what I do not understand is the cloth they drape above the beds. Furniture is extremely old and carpetted floor... more

My husband and I spent about 4 days in this hotel on our honeymoon. The room we had was on the first level (not the basement) and it was quite charming. The bathroom had beautiful blue tile, the bed was a firm queen or king and their was a small sitting area. The balcony was beautiful. On the last night... more

After staying in a beautiful hotel in Athens, the accommodations offered as a “four-star” at the Kallisti Thera Hotel were atrocious. The first room we were booked in was on the basement level, a cramped shoebox of a room with no view. The bathroom was about the size of a linen closet, filthy with an ever present mildew smell. The... more

We were overbooked in another hotel next to this place. First placed us in bottom rooms with no view and only a window to the couryard. Damp and disgusting. Rooms were changed only to a slightly better one but my teenage daughters weren't happy with their cramped room and bath. They kept their shoes on as they showered. Their bed... more

We arrived and had paid for a waterview room and we were given a "shoebox" room. We requested to be moved and we were moved to a bigger and more comfortable room which we were happy about. Howvever, the staff are extremely vague. They appear overworked, we saw one front desk lady there over a 12 hour shift!! The location... more

This is a best western hotel located in Fira Santorini. It is in a good location as the town is accessible with a 5 minute walk and close to the bus station to take you to other places in Santorini. The rooms at this hotel are not very good. In the best western catalog this is listed as a four... more

We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. We started with one of the 'basement' rooms that other people have complained about and found it to be charming. We had a patio door which opened on to an absolutely lovely deck. From the deck, we walked up about 4 stairs, directly to the pool area. The bathroom - yes, it... more

Came into Santorini from Paros. Overall very pleased with the Best Western Kalisti. Pro: Great pool and breakfast, great location (2 minutes to town and bus terminals). Santorini just spectacular and walked along the caldera to the next town, but we continued our tip to Oia on the local bus. Hotel gardens and pool area very nice, rooms adequate, bank... more
