Me and my boyfriend stayed in a cave room for 3 nights in august and had a lovely stay. The hotel is very modern, clean, beautiful and we were very happy with our stay. The pool is small but defiantly helps as it gets so hot up there and we found the staff very helpful and sweet. The views are... More

Nestled in the slopes of the caldera, this hotel is very quaint and private. Walkable to most parts of oia, it's well placed from the main bus stop too. Lovely people all dressed in white during the summer. Bring sunblock and sunglasses.

To wrap up my experience with Caldera villas, where I stayed for 2 nights on August 2014: Illegal booking conditions: Children below 12 are not accepted during peak season. This is not legal in Europe. When checking-in with a child, you are then threatened with a €70 surcharge for a folding bed. DISGUSTING BEDDING: when looking incidentally on mattress and... More

I booked Cave Suite - Caldera View in this hotel two months ago and also paid by credit card online at that moment. When we checked in, the staff instructed us to a double room. We found the room type was different from what we booked, and then informed the staff to double check again. They replied that they did... More

The customer service is virtually nonexistent. I would agree with one of the previous reviews saying that in reality it is a hostel that charges as a 5 star hotel. For a start, the hotel reservation manager sent me an email asking if I need a transfer from the airport. I sent back a request and received no answer in... More

Thorough rip off. No facilities - not even possibility of a gin and tonic. No love has gone into running this place - it's used to milk money. Breakfast unpleasant and unfresh cooked in the "reception" and smell lingers all day (orange juice from a packet mixed with water, stewed coffee, no fruit salad, hostel cake and cheap bread). Not... We regret that you did not enjoy your stay with us. Though, it is a proper hotel and not a hostel, in which the sleeping area is shared by all. I am sorry that we couldnt provide you gin and tonic although we had several other drinks available Our pool is of a moderate size and for all of our... More

Fantastic time at Caldera Villias in Oia and Irene Papadopoulou the Manager was Excellent and made our trip memorable and comfortable! After a week the steep steps were a bit much but are one of the unique features of Santorini.

We stayed in Caldera Villas for 3 nights and were amazed at the place. Where to begin? First: the location! Yes, you have to go down a few steps (absolutely not 200 as someone stated), but all hotels in the heart of Oia and with a great view require you to go down a few steps. They have a guy... More

Just spent a week at Caldera Villas and it was an amazing stay from start to end! On arrival really early at 6 a.m. our room was ready for us, and we entered the room, it was not exactly what we had in mind, so we informed the reception and we were given 3 options ot choose from, they even... More

I'm giving 3 out of 5 stars for this hotel/resort. I really wanted to give this place 5 stars, because part of me loved it here. But there were 2 major issues which I will explain later why it didn't earn those last 2 stars. My wife and I spent our honeymoon here. We splurged for 4 nights on the... More
