After reviewing several hotels on tripadvisor.com we decided to stay at Perivolas.This hotel was a rare experience. If you are traveling to Greece do not miss staying in Oia on Santorini. Pay the extra dollars to stay in Oia it is worth it. Trust me. This hotel offers great views and walking location to Oia. I highly recommend it. more

This may sound like an oxy moron but the great thing about Perivolas is that you get the feeling of being in a traditional Greek home (including having to put your TP in the trash can and minus a shower curtain) but with the most amazing views, a fabulous restaurant and incredible customer service. first time in greece. took jfk delta non stop flight to athens and then directly to aegan air short 10am flight to santorini. easy connection nice airline. hotel picked us up at airport 15 minutes away. in oia, most hotels are these cave guest houses. we were deciding on katikis or perivolas. the gym was the deciding factor for us.... more

When we arrived at Perivolas and saw the view from the hotel, I was completely taken and it reminded me of the Hotel Caruso in Ravello, Italy, which has a similar infinity pool perched on the edge of a plunging cliff. Our stay at Perivolas was absolutely wonderful. We arrived and were taken to our room. Didnt' exactly know what to expect from the cave rooms, but absolutely loved it. Stayed for 7 nights in September. The hotel is delightful- my hubby says its a hobbit hotel- kept expecting Bilbo Baggins to come out of one of the rooms!
