I had a lovely stay here. It's a beautiful location and the room I stayed in was a nicely renovated cave house. A breakfast hamper with freshly baked Greek biscuits was provided daily which was a nice touch. Only downside was it was quite a way from Oia, I didn't realise it was so far. The hotel is actually quite... More

The hotel is beautiful, with nicely restored cave houses in a quiet village just outside of Oia. The hotel has a beautiful common area overlooking the village and the sea where you can enjoy breakfast, read a book, or just relax. The rooms are tastefully decorated. Good Wi-Fi connection. Very quiet in the village, short walk (15 min) to Oia... More

We had a wonderful week here at the start of August. The accommodation was really comfortable and Sophia was a wonderful host. Its apx 10-15 minute walk into oia. Buses are regular so we visited Fira and Perissa. There is a winery at the bottom of the hill of where the apartments look out on which is pleasant. During the... More

I had booked couple of rooms in this hotel for my upcoming trip in August. I had booked quite sometime in advance so got a good deal. But last week they cancelled my booking on their own giving the reason that pre-authorisation was not successful. They did not even give me time to provide details of a second card. As... More

Sofia (the owner)did her best to make us feel comfortable despite the limitations of the furnishings and appliances. She was very helpful finding us emergency dentists and recommending sights and local restaurants. Decor and ambience of the place was charming and imaginative. The bed for the adults was smaller than a double bed, and the bedding for my teenage daughter... More

We would highly recommend staying at Heliophos. It's near Oia but far enough to feel away from the madding crowds. The little village of Finikia is a lovely traditional settlement and has wonderful views over the Agean, albeit not the caldera. It's DIY breakfast and it is lovely to sit outside on your private terrace, but it is a bit... More

We had the most amazing week here. Sofia is lovely. The location is great just a short walk from oia. The peace and quiet was something else. I could not recommend the place more highly. We stayed in one of the honeymoon suites - I'd go back again tomorrow

We were not expecting such a cute and well decorated room. Little details made it that much more special to stay there. The location was ideal as it was very close to Oia but just outside a bit so it was quiet and less touristy. The neighbourhood around seems still authentic. The hotel is a Oia, cave style house so... Heliophos is a perfect place for people who like to relax in a quiet, truly authentic,laid-back Greek environment, surrounded by warm and unpretentious hospitality. The whole place is beautifully and tastefully decorated with antique or ethnic objects, lots of them gathered by the owner's many travels around the world. It nevertheless maintains its fundamental Greek character. Our room was a traditional Cycladic cave-house,spacious and airy,with... More

Very nice location, really beautiful place! Sofia, the owner, is really kind and helpful! She gave us all the information we needed about the island, where to eat, what to see etc... The breakfast was really delicious, with fresh bread, a variety of jams, yogurt and local products of Santorini. Our room was really comfortable and beautifully decorated! The decoration... More
