Great value and awesome location in the heart of etretat's square. Lovely rooms with a cosy feel - chalet style with wood panelled walls. The window in the room also opened outwards overlooking the quaint little shop and path.

We were transferred to L'Escale after we complained about our room at the Hotel La Taverne des deux Augustins. The room we were relocated to was small and had dark panelling from floor to ceiling. It was however warm and welcoming. As we had an issue in the other hotel we were upgraded to a nicer (and more expensive) room... More

Having read the other reviews I would point out that my review is based on the hotel and not the restaurant. The hotel is in a perfect location, in the centre of town just 1 min from the sea, the car park is just 1 min away and very safe. The rooms are very clean and the shower very hot.... More

The worst hotel I've ever been! The room was small and smelt of the food being cooked in the kitchen downstairs. In the bathroom the fan was mouldy and the room was generally dusty. The bed was very short, even for small Italians, and noisy. There was supposed to be wi-fi and 80 channels on tv... Big lies! It was... More

We ate here because the restaurant we had previously identified on Tripadvisor was closed. It was simply appalling. Do not eat here. For a 13.90 euros formula we were served a savoury pancake with cheese, ham and egg.
